Just came across Vinnie Politan's tweet saying that Jean Casarez spoke with Cheney Mason this afternoon and there is NO plea deal! Also, he says that whatever this issue is its "under seal" meaning that someone would violate a court order if information is released! I guess we're stuck waiting til Monday morning at 8:30!

I'm going crazy waiting for Monday.

And I'm going to make a terrible confession about my obsession over this trial: I'm skipping my nephew's graduation party on July 2nd so I can be home in case there's a verdict. I'd have to drive 5 hours upstate to be there and once there there's no way I'll be able to watch tv, so I'm staying home. He'll understand.

This may have been posted already and I missed it. It is from Geraldo so take it with a grain of salt:

And when did Baez find this out?? Back in May during opening statements, Baez said Lee didn't go as far as George. So is he saying that Lee overheard George and Cindy talking about thinking that Lee was the father, and went to Baez with the information last week? That whole thing about Lee going to Baez after overhearing something, and then nothing coming out during questioning, and Lee's behavior on the stand was just so so weird.

I think he had enough with an alleged accidental drowning and stupid young scared girl who panicked and covered it up. The sex abuse thing is so risky, and since the burden of proof is on the prosecution it would have been more prudent for the defense to say as little as possible.

Based on what I read in the article, he's not violating attorney/client privilege, as he's voicing his frustrations at the proceedings and the judge. He didn't seem to divulge anything that wasn't part of the public record. There's no gag order on the case, obviously, and that's the only thing that he would have violated by talking to Rivera. Of course, it also demonstrates a complete lack of common sense, but then....oh, never mind.

I was looking at some videos today, and Baez apparently was born without the common sense gene. Wonder what his family thinks of him.

Tired and punchy...I think I'm going to veg a bit before bed. Meanwhile, think about a good poll for this thread (since we didn't have one on the last thread)...guilt/innocence? Will Casey testify? (We did that before, but lots has changed since then.) How many threads will we have when this trial is over? I'm sure there are lots of other creative possibilities. (Will we need a poll to pick the poll topic??? )

He didn't leak anything that went on, he simply state what DID NOT go on.

so far no induction - i'm not a fan of pit and don't think it's necessary - at least for me (please to yell at me in my super fragile state if you took it and it worked)

i've heard sooooooo many bad things about pit and even a couple of my nurses shook their heads when i questioned it.

i won't be let go until she's born but they aren't going to induce or stop it she comes when she comes and she's just not listening to me.

as long as they don't to internals they aren't risking infection being shoved back up so there won't be a need for induction unless it's emerg and they it might very well be c-section

but as far as i know - 80% chance of delivery with 7 days

That is good to know...and no I have no stories of taking pit. With my last 2 they threatened induction...but the threat was all it took for my girls to make their appearance.
