Does that mean they will wait until Wednesday or Thursday of next week to let this go to the jury?

Wow, six days in jail plus the fine, if you are in JBP's courtroom you better sit down and darn well behave yourself.

Who's going to pay the fine immediately based on his savings of 180.00? Mommy and Daddy I bet....

Oh and with the unemployment down there he'll be hard pressed to find another job...

I would be willing to bet there is some "news organization" who will gladly pay the fine and court costs in exchange for an exclusive.

Smart to do - I would try to get the jail time reduced definitely. If he's a first offender it could be.

Kid should've pulled a Casey bird flipping move ... you know, wipe away a fake tear with your middle finger.

You're not giving this kid any credit! He's probably not as stupid as you think. I'm betting that this is another crazy looking for his 15 minutes of fame and some monetary benefits from this case. He'll be all over Inside Edition, Entertainment Tonight, etc. giving his "inside story" on why he did it, etc. and he'll be getting paid well for that, too.

ETA -- based on that video, he was totally doing it to get it on tv and not giving it to Ashton. He looks directly into the camera as he does it. Kid was well aware he was on tv and tried to pull this off. Granted, wrong thing to do, but the kid thought he could pull it off and be a "hero" to his buddies.

Ain't that the truth. Although Moron #1 during jury selection (who blabbed to a reporter that he wanted to get out of jury duty) worked at Publix and that hasn't stopped me from getting their fantastic BOGO deals.

And 28 years old. This is no kid. This is an adult with no sense.
