The state is paying for certain things for experts. The attorneys are working pro bono as casey is indigent

If anything I can see it NOT helping Jose.
I thought all along he had an affair (and really didn't care or think it mattered to the case) and now really not sure any longer.

I hope this ends soon since I need to get back to my real life (and job LOL).

Not exactly. They are not working pro-bono, they are getting paid.

As for Florida Law... Casey hired Bozo on her own with the photo sales that Bozo brokered for her. When that money ran out, she claimed indigent status. Since she had already hired a private attorney, the State of Florida now pays for him instead of changing attorneys and appointing a public defender.
State law does not allow him to drop out just because she had no money to pay him so now he gets paid by the State.

The analyst for WFTV thinks that Cruz did help the defense and did create reasonable doubt, maybe he didn't hear the last line out her mouth with Ashton, I'm not sure.... He also said it would have been better if a woman had cross examined her because you don't want her up on the stand crying, making Ashton look like a bully.

Just got a better look at KC. I'm thinking maybe she will testify this afternoon. Even tho she doesn't have a suit on, the blouse is understated & professional looking, not frilly or busy like some of the others she's had. Her hair is back but down, looks a little softer. Would make her look softer & more sympathetic.

Maybe she will see her witnesses have failed so she'll need to save herself. I don't think it will work. But we know KC is full of herself & will take a "I'll do it myself" attitude.
