I think it is too bad River Cruz and Casey Anthony never had more time to spend together. I am thinking they would get along very well.

What's she crying for now?? Poor baby. Gotta tell the truth.
Bummer, huh?
Am I the only one who thinks they DID have an affair?:confused3
I'm sure you're not the "only one". I don't know if they did or not, but I don't think it matters. And that statement about it being an accident that snowballed out of control does nothing for the defense, and only helps the prosecution, which is a good thing. :thumbsup2 Thank you KH/RC!

So basically the detectives showed up at her door *first*, and she gave a statement that said she did not sleep with George.

Then, she ends up going back to detectives to tell them that she did sleep with George, and give them the statement.
..
And at that time she sold her story because of her sister?

Is that about right?

Or sold the story because the Nat Enq was the only media who would teell the truth fro her!

I thought she said she gave her depo and said no affair

Then the police came to her and she admitted the affair

But isn't that backwards?

River Cruz is up the stream without a paddle!

My guess is that she wasn't credible enough for People magazine. However, credible enough for the rag mag that the National Inquirer is ...

That's a good point.

I do wonder if she went to other outlets like OK, Star before settling on them to see how much she could get.

Ashton is not going to let her get away with purposely taking things out of context. She is trying to stick to her story which is so twisty turvy, and he's not letting her do it.

Twin sisters, collaberating story maybe so you dont know who did what? Nice try for a cover up. If you dont want media attention, why involve yourself with someone who has media all around them from the start? You are looking to make money. Having to read back all her testimony.

Oh crud, Ashton turned another one OMG :scared1: How perfect was that??

Not that anyone may have. :rolleyes1 did anyone read the story in the enquirer? I know they edit stuff ( surprise ) I did not read it.

Can anyone please tell me who is paying for HoseA?

Is it George and Cindy?

Thanks.

NOW what story is she going to sell to The Enquirer? The perils of being questioned by Jeff Ashton?

Frankly, I haven't even given it much thought as I just don't think it matters. Its the accident/snowball comment that have any relevance.

Believe me, I'm not defending the National Inquirer at all but sometimes they do get the story correct first ... for example, they had been reporting the John Edwards love child affair long before anyone else was or before John Edwards admitted it himself ... just sayin' ...

Am I the only one who thinks they DID have an affair?:confused3

I'm on the fence - I'm not sure if they had an "intimate" affair, but I am tending to believe that they may have had an "emotional" affair ...
