I only saw Casey on my TV. I want to say I turned the TV on around 8:50 and I jumped in the shower around 9:30 so it was sometime in between there.

Yep, I crack myself up. Leaving in a few for a play. Glad I won't miss the trial. I was going to have a very hard time focusing if the trial was on. How pathetic am I?

At DS's graduation, I ran into a woman I've been meaning to get together with for breakfast or lunch, so we did our usual "We MUST get together...!" and I said "AFTER the Casey Anthony trial." And she was like "What's that???" Can you imagine??

oh and i give up - i'm calling to get the tv - 4 days is LONG ENOUGH

I heard this morning that Jose Baez watches the footage on HLN. I just know right now his sitting in Mason's office taking this all in. He's loving the fact of the speculation. I wouldn't be surprised if a secret leaks out by this evening.

In an interview with Ryan Smith before the trial, Baez said that he was NOT going to be watching news commentators about the trial. Yeah, right! And I agree...the defense is going to find some way of getting some sort of info out before Monday IF the "big issue" is somehow in their favor.

I can handle Baez. But can he handle me?!

Checking in this morning. I guess I have not missed to much since we have no baby yet and the trial is not on.

OK Kurby, what's going on? Since your water broke yesterday, how long will they give you before they induce, or do they do that? It has been 10 years since I had a baby & I had all three by c-section so I don't know about all of that.


As for the trial, Holy Cow! What is going on? My guess is a plea deal is in the works and from the look on Bozo's face he seems happy about it, what ever it is. Even more reason to make me go!

Just had a deep thought. (I've been spray painting and may have inhaled. ) Since we now know that Baez watches news commentators, even tho he told Ryan Smith he wouldn't, I imagine he googles himself. (Ya think?! ) Do you think he also googles "Bozo" just to cover all the bases?

I missed the trial today due to a T-ball game and I heard that something happened that ended court early today. Does anyone know what happened?

A legal matter. That's all we know, really. Lots of speculation, pretty much spelled out in the last few pages. (NOT in The First Post. )

Something came up in chambers and the judge recessed until Monday morning.

I woke up late. I was excited to have the trail to watch while I sip my butter toffee coffee and found out that there is no court today.

Plus no Kurby baby.

I wish we had some indication what this could be about. I sure hope it isn't jury misconduct. They are saying it could be witness tampering. This is my guess. I think the Anthony's worked on this theory with Baez. I think when Lee whispered, "I'm sorry" that was a clear statement that he couldn't go along with the plan. He ate alone yesterday as well.

What happens then? Does their testimony get stricken or could there be a mistrail?

and now she has not 1 question as to why a baby who is supposed to be born sometime in sept comes at least 6 weeks early, weighs what a full term baby would, doesn't spend any tiem in the NICU, and looks like a full term baby???


this baby is only 3 or 4 weeks early and is still just over 5 lbs - how much was caylee - unless she was tiny there should be NO WAY a friggen nurse of all people should believe that she was just a premee baby.

this entire family really do think everyone is stupid or believe their crappy lies

My oldest daughter was 5 weeks early and weighted 5 1/2 lbs. My sons, 4 weeks early and were 6 and 6 1/2 lbs.(non in NICU). Youngest baby girl...full term at 8 lbs 10 oz... Ouch!

He didn't really whisper it, unless there was a different time I didn't see...but he said it, in general it appeared to me, to Baez/the court for getting so emotional during testimony.

ETA I do think something was definitely weird about Lee's testimony and I think Baez and maybe his parents were expecting him to say something that he decided against saying. And eating alone was weird too...if they were feeling united, they'd be together, IMHO.

I thought it was odd that Lee got off the stand yesterday, Judge Perry asked for the next witness and Jose Baez said, "my next witness is in the bathroom" That's when Judge Perry set a 15 minute break. Then afterwards we find out that the next witness was Cindy. Coincidence? Its weird to me that all the explosive testimony from the defense this week came from Casey's family.

I don't think there was a problem with the jury, because wouldn't there be some word that the Judge spoke to the jury in private?

I don't know when she left, but I know when Lee got off the stand and walked out of the courtroom, Jose stated that his next witness was in the bathroom. He failed to mention who the next witness was, just that they were in the bathroom. He said it with a kind of smirky grin on his face too. That's when JP called a break. Then after that court break, Jose called Cindy to the stand.

I just found it odd that Cindy was in the bathroom during her son's testimony.
