I can not believe that a brother would be so upset because he was not included in his sister's pregnancy!!! Being a brother all he needed to know was she was pregnant and he knew that. Did he want to help deliver Caylee himself? Maybe I am weird but I don't find that a very brotherly act. And all the water works was a joke!

His whole testimony was very strange. It is so obvious that Baez cooked up Lee and Cindy's testimony. I'm waiting to see what George says when Baez puts him on the stand. I wouldn't rule out George changing his story too.

Ashton is up--but they just cut in, so I am not sure what he is doing. Looks like business prior to the trial, perhaps. Talking to judge about a witness and some supplemental evidence and opinions without notice to the state. He had only 10 minutes to look it up. Requesting special hearing--judge says we wont' have one today--Judge ruling that he cannot testify to anything NOT in report.

Baez getting smug again--"It appears state isn't correct, again" (What?--they've been correct several times )\\

Judge: All I need to know, is he testifying to what has been submitted.


My sons angry birds is too loud and tv will not go to max volume--darn you angry birds!

Baez harping about allegations--blah blah blah...Baez of course does not believe them to be true. (I would not expect anything less from Baez)

Baez: He hasn't even heard the testimony--how does he know it isn't in there? He should not be allowed to make accusations he has no support for.

Baez: If I have to tailor testimony to only what prosecution knows about--I will do that, if it is a valid issue. (sounds kind of like wishy washy Baez backpeddling)

Judge: I would guess that this would have grown old by now, but I guess some things never change. (slam on the attorneys)

Cat fight for sure... Ashton Vs. Baez... that's something isn't it...

Aren't they supposed to come in at 8:30 to have these discussions? Here we go again 9am and the squabbling starts instead of testimony.

Funny that Baez was saying here we go again as though he were innocent and Mike Deforest (WKMG) reminds the viewers that Baez was caught doing this earlier--Dr. Rodriguez...(during that deposition from his supervisor with dept of defense says that they did not know he was in Orlando to be testifying and he is not authorized to testify and if he did, he would be fired. (sidebar: I had no idea that he could be prohibited. Funny that Baez also decided to not have him risk his job and force him to testify even though he could have.)


Baez is seeking a motion for prosecutorial (sp?) misconduct--that Jeff Ashton went out of his way to get Rodriguez dismissed. They accuse him of calling to report the guy, but he RECEIVED a call. Then defense allowed him to leave without any fight.

This would have been bad if Ashton made the call, but no problems because he received the call.

Baez is an IDIOT!

Apparently I missed something by not tuning in earlier! Fireworks in the courtroom! Ashton having a fit over Baez's next expert witness saying what else could create chloroform in the trunk of the car?

Also--witness that defense was to use today is being considered missing. Unable to find her or her vehicle. She was last seen a bar on June 14. I don't know her connection to the trial.

I had heard on InSession yesterday that it was that Linda Tinelli person who saw George with the duct tape putting up posters or something (I think) but then she was on. I don't trust anything I say anymore. Plus, I'm running on about 5 1/2 hours sleep...so much for getting to bed early.

June 25th at 4:54am. I will keep you in my prayers.

The law says that once a jury starts to deliberate they must do so together. That is, they cannot get together in small groups reach a conclusion and then meet with all jurors and try to impose the small groups ideas on the entire group. Once the case goes to the jury for decision, the rule that they cannot talk with each other dissolves. As a result, once the jurors start to deliberate, they will be isolated even further since although they can now talk about the case, they are prohibited from doing so, unless all 12 are together."

LOL! Wednesday my kids were in and out of the house...playing, riding bikes etc. Well DD9 had gotten in trouble for not having a helmet on and gotten chewed out. And was given 1 last warning. After riding for a little she came in to get a drink and when she was heading back out she hollered to me that she was leaving.

I yelled "Hey!" and she said "Yeah?" I said "Did you heed all my previous admonitions?" She said "Yeah.....wait?.....Huh?"

It had just popped out and I started laughing. Noone got it but me..DH looked at me like I had 3 heads so I explained to both of them what it meant.

DH said I spend too much time on the computer

Just heard the lunch menu for today's full day of trial.

Judge has ordered some Meow Mix for Ashton and Baez to be served with a saucer of milk. An added touch of candlelight to soften the mood. If they are good, their special break this afternoon will include sniffs of cat nip to get things a little more chipper.

They "whisked" ICA away....

So she sat down--but then was taken away. (little bit of trivia--just found out that there is a 10-15 second time delay on court video....so the reporter commented that they pulled her away while she was still sitting down. Reporter then explained his ESP.)


Reporter speculates that his speculation is that perhaps, maybe they are preparing for ICA to testify. Figures.

sidebar--video of G and C in courtroom and Cindy is talking to someone in her left--when I lifted my head, she had a widetoothed grin on her face. I don't think I have EVER EVER EVER EVER seen a smile on that woman's face.

Full on--WIDE toothy smile. (didn't realize she had perfect teeth even)....not making fun of her teeth--but it was a WIDE smile....and she is grinning now to whatever the person is saying.

I am probably reading too much into it--but it did catch my attention as highly unusual.

Then no conversing--now she just did a mild shudder while shaking her head "no".

Okay-WHAT is that conversation about?


ETA: Now she and George are staring at the ceiling and she pointed with her pen to something. I need captions!
