Oh, that's right. Wonder if he'll get to go, or if an alternate will take over? There's supposed to be a really good alternate, per commentators...forgot who it was.

I had to really think about what the date is! I've lost a few weeks of my life here.

I'm sorry, I just can't get past this today. I wonder if any of the jury is thinking the same thing. The defense has been at it for a week and they have not brought up anything relevant to the theory Baez gave in his opening statement. I'm fed up with wasting time with did the shorts fit, what size were the shorts, what fabric were the shorts, did the shorts stretch, who had the duct tape, who saw the duct tape, who brought the duct tape, who used the duct tape.

I sure get the feeling that they are doing their best to through George under the bus. . .but I bet the defense doesn't call him. That cross would be great. I hope the State uses him as their last rebuttal witness. Of course, there's the risk that he might go with what the defense is trying to imply. but boy, that would be hard to believe that he would do that to save KC. I would love to see the State flat out ask him, "Did you kill Caylee Anthony?" They could ask, "Did you pull a drowned Caylee out of the pool?" There is always the risk that he might say yes though.

I think they already asked those questions basically during the prosecution case, and he answered "no."

So...IT APPEARS THE JURY WILL GO OUT TO DELIBERATIONS NEXT SATURDAY, JULY 2. Subject to change, I would imagine.

JB 1 lawyers gets up then another then defense then they get another lawyer then another one

HHBP I can understand splitting open but not rebuttal so you dont have to worry about that

JB Yuri says got months of records on Kronk but they only got 2 weeks he considers it a violation---also that yuri took anthony family members but we dont have it.... shocked


LDB specualte the records may be contained on the disks theyve been provided---very muffled cant hear what shes saying...says she went over lots of info with JB...Melich says he received home records but willing to work with JB to make sure he does have everything

JB willing to work with LDB and they may have to recall Yuri to make sure his testimony was correct

LDB some of what JB requested was ?? I guess blocked by the lawyers of the ppl he was requesting

Bottom line if you need records get them too late to be going after red herrings

JA asking about addressing jury about Dr Rodriguez....saying they need a bland excuse why he was withdrawn

CM saying JA was told he'd (Rodriguez) be fired if he testified...?????

HHBP its also true that he didnt get permission to testify

JB all we know he came he began JA took deposition then got a phone call on a Saturday from DOD saying he would be fired

JA any implication JB made that I contacted DOD is false they learned of Rodriguez testifying from tv and contacted me

JA if council wants to file a motion concerning this then bring it



HHBP if this is the way it goes then Rodriguez's Captain would need to testify and he will find out if Rodriguez was given permission to testify
then talks about what he remembers happening DT didnt want Rodriguez job in jeopardy and that they had another witness who could testify...if were going to tell a story lets tell the complete story

HHBP instructions to jury would need to be very benign--I will have proposed jury instructions for you to look at probably tuesday

HHBP going over timeline for when jury will start deliberating says he's trying to decide whether to send the jury out friday evening, or have them fresh saturday morning next week---something he needs to think about---saying jurors will be separated from one another once they get the case.

HHBP going over charges---telling them to think about any other lessers they may be inclined to ask for


Discussing motions to dismiss---an evidentiry hearing not going to interrupt trial--can do in morning or after any days testimony

Makes sense tho. You can't have two jurors getting together when they're not in actual deliberations and talking about the case without the others. I guess.

They do deliberate together. But when they're not deliberating, they need to be apart, apparently.

When I was on a jury, we were not separated from each other, but we were very specifically told at each break NOT to discuss the case with each other.

Deliberations are done once the case is sent to the jury and obviously then you do discuss it together in a room.
