Casey Anthony Trial Thread #3

If Cindy Anthony looked up chloroform and admitted it in her depo., then why did she not say anything about looking up chloroform as well? Don't you think that would've been helpful for them to know that? How convenient that she omitted that.

Yeah -- she didn't omit it. She didn't do the chloroform searches and she's totally lying now.

Again, youtube doesn't do pop ups for random videos and anyone who has used a computer on a regular basis should know that! Nice try, Cindy ... we're not buying it.

Soooo sorry sorry sorry ... I meant "If Cindy Anthony looked up CHLOROPHYLL (not chloroform as I typed) and admitted it in her depo"! Sorry sorry sorry!!!! I will go back and edit it there!!!!!

Also just read on Twitter that Jose Baez, Cindy & her attorney were talking in the hallway before her testimony.

I highly doubt she will be charged with perjury. If she had changed what she said in her deposition, the state would have whipped that out right then and there. They didn't and that tells me she didn't perjure herself.

I think she held back when she originally gave her deposition. The defense found a loop hole of questions the state failed to specifically ask Cindy during the deposition and they ran with it.

No way the state let would let this drop if they had proof. I hope I am wrong, though, and she really did perjure herself. She has done nothing but cover up for her piece of you know what daughter and she crossed the line this time, IMO.

Is lying on the witness stand something dIfferent then? If they can find additional documentation that she was working--is that not perjury?

Another thing they might look up---did she buy lunch in the cafeteria that day?

Gentiva publicly traded and in the medical, therefore legal and financial field. The records and emails are still around

After 22 years of having a daughter and all of her experience as a nurse, Cindy decided to look up acetone to see if it is dangerous? A mother doesn't know that acetone could be dangerous if swallowed? A nurse doesn't know this? She needs to search alcohol to find out if this will hurt her granddaughter? She needs to search all the individual ingredients in Purell to see if they are dangerous instead of just looking up Purell itself to see if it is dangerous?

Excellent points!!! Too bad LDB didn't bring that up in her cross!

Anyone with half a brain knows that bleach, acetone, alcohol, and cleaning fluids are dangerous to children. And she's a nurse yet? Ai yi yi .......

All this talk about CA ans GA saying they will do anything to make sure KC does not get the DP....I guess we just saw some of that. I wonder if she ever denied chloroform searches in earlier depos. Cindy just dropped a bomb!

So now what was Cindy doing with her chloroform in the trunk??

But didn't she say she "could" have been home. She never testified that she absolutely was home so I don't think she lied. I have never wanted to be so wrong in my life, though!

Did anyone find that rude that she said that to Cindy? I didn't. I would have been so mad if I were her I would have said it too. :rolleyes1

I didn't think it was rude because I remember Cindy, I believe it was the first time she was on the stand, she said something about her memory being better since she was on some meds. Anyone remember that?

I would love a miracle drug like that since I have fibromyalgia.

I didn't either. Some of the talkers on HLN did but one said it was fair game
and made a point

My family just came in as Cindy was being questioned and was on re-direct by LDB and they heard that question, they didn't think it was cold, they said something else indicating they would not want to be in front of LDB, but based on what Cindy said, not cold at all.

Since the Cindy incident my DH typed in every phrase all of us have put in combined... I can't believe he made all those searches, unbelievable  I told him to stop, but no luck!!

In fairness, I think I have visited the Dis approximately 6,839 times a day since this trial started. :lmao:
:lmao:
HOLY CRAP!!!

I had to go away from the computer to yell at my kids and congratulate my BIL who was on the phone with DH so I missed a buttload of testimony...
You couldn't have done that tomorrow? ;)
I read this on twitter over an hour ago:

stevehelling
I saw #cindyanthony and #JoseBaez talking in the hall with her lawyer right before this testimony. This is a bombshell.
And Cindy's lawyer too, apparently. Wondering if they were getting it straight what she could say without "lying".

She sure did! Which brings me to another question: Do you think the prosecution has staff who watch the news shows and read the blogs to get suggestions they may have missed, gather info and see what the average person (as a juror would be) is thinking and asking?

In a case like this, I would think so! More than likely, they have interns doing this.

CINDY! CINDY! CINDY!

I just hope she can live with herself if Casey gets away with it.

I understand she doesn't want to see her put to death, I'm not sure I wouldn't have done the same thing if I was Cindy; however, I think Cindy will never get over it if she helps her daughter walk away for this scott free!:scared1:

She visited myspace 83 times in one day?

I don't think that is odd anymore. I have been on this thread all day for many days.:rolleyes1

In fairness, I think I have visited the Dis approximately 6,839 times a day since this trial started. :lmao:

Yeah, but you're on this thread for the purpose of following information and opinions, as well as commenting on a court case. Totally different reason than being on myspace or fb. How many times have you gone to your facebook page in the same day? Probably nowhere near 83 times!

Yes, now that you mention it...she did say that!

I am not watching it right Now

What I am getting from these posts is that she says she DID make these searches and that she wasn't working and that her time cards were fudged.

If there is additional proof that she had to have been working, then she lied on the stand.

Her precise wording wil determine that though.

It is BS that she did not mention this before.

Nick Savage being proffered

For some reason with that name I was expecting a hottie......bummer

But she did say she made the choloform searches. A lie if she was not home
