It would make sense to me that she or her family were doing a search for Jose before her second arrest if not sooner. Internet search could have pulled him up, one of Casey's family doing work from the outside (not sure if inmates are allowed to use the internet) or possibly she could have done it herself.

It seems likely this might have been the case since it would have given him more time to look over the case to decide if he was going to take it. This is probably why she filed for a public defender. Because either she didn't have his fee yet, or he wasn't sure if he wanted to get into the hot mess that he suspected would be this trial. Maybe he realized that even though it was a hot mess, that this would have the potential to throw him into the lime light.

It is not difficult to think that this case would get more attention since the case had been in the media off and on, and it would be getting at least some follow up. As well, Casey had no offical story of what happened to Caylee once the Nanny kidnapped my kid fell through. I think this was a big bonus for Jose.


The question does stand to reason though. Who is paying Jose for Casey or is he doing this pro-bono?

He is doing pro bono not by choice now that his client is indigent. I think they all are. But Mason maybe ok as he may have other cases through his office. I dont know about the other ones there. Some did ask the judge on wftv or wesh how he was paying his own bills the judge said they would have to ask Baez.

I just turned on the trial. Am I right in seeing that ANOTHER defense witness is talking about Dr. Vass' work? Giving the state witness more credibility?

His opinion on the compounds found were low response , based on that test he can not say there were human remains in the car.

If you want your voice heard, you have to do more than just Snark and Run.

You have YET to answer any questions posed to you, or present your case.



There is no doubt that Judge Perry is biased against Baez - it's Perry's court room and Baez is continually disregarding the rules.

Are you saying that Perry needs to allow the defense witnesses that have not submitted reports or been deposed by the state? Against court rules? Are you supporting wasting the court's time and the state's money by calling witnesses that aren't relevant to the case? How how about blatant lying to the court?


If it was my court room, Baez would be in jail already on contempt charges and Mason would be lead attorney. But I think we've established that I'm NOT fair!

I know his opinions are on what chemicals were found from his tests, but I wonder if Ashton would ask about the smell.

The chemicals are likely of gasoline, but did the trunk smell for gasoline. According to everyone who has smelled it, gasoline didn't come to mind.

This guy is saying what every other chemist is saying. This is boring.
