I think JBP was just going to reprimand the state and defense about the amount of time they had wasted this morning when he asked them what time it was. When Baez had to be smart by saying a different time it gave JBP a perfect one liner about there being no love lost between those two.

Regarding the "Judgment Juror", it was recently reported that she started taking notes when the defense began it's case. I'm thinking that the possibility exists that she's leaning towards guilty, and decided to start taking notes to see if she can find any indication to the contrary.

Vasco is going to be JVM tonight, talking about how the whole thing with the cell phone and George has "ruined his life".

Also, two jurors who are OUTRAGED that they waited in line for so long only to be told "no court" today. Because, of course, they should work around the spectators' time. At least they saw a good JBP smackdown.

I was thinking about that. Those people waited in line since last night and didn't get to see anything. They said one guy in the courtroom had to be escorted out because he was mad the judge called for recess.

these people are unreal. It's not a rock concert - you can't demand your money back.

i'm just counting the days before judge says - that's it - closed court except media.

I was thinking about that. Those people waited in line since last night and didn't get to see anything. They said one guy in the courtroom had to be escorted out because he was mad the judge called for recess.

I don't know what they are talking about. But spectators in court today, supposedly got their tickets on Saturday.

After Friday's brawl, the procedure was changed and you get your tickets at 4pm the day before (Saturday's may be different). On the news this morning (WKMG), there was absolutely no one waiting in line as of 6am this morning during a live shot. Orlando police were standing by to turn anyone away. Those with tickets were to show up at 8am with driver's license.

So whomever they interviewed was embellishing his/her story.

William C. Rodriguez claimes that he co-founded the body farm are questionable. I googled several times who founded the body farm and only Bass is ever mentioned since it's inception.

Fast forword to Bozoworld and suddenly there is a co-founder.

I first read the headline HERE but can't get past the mess.

Jose Baez is a genius!

He's working hard towards a mistrial. And when he gets it, he figures the state will not want to try this again because of money/publicity/etc - so at that point there will be a plea deal that is a lot less than life in prison.

But I think Judge Perry is on to him.

if true (but doubt it) he's putting his own career on the line.

pretty stupid defense if you ask me. if you "know" your client is guilty and you don't want to rep them anymore quit - with notice BEFORE the trial gets going - ohhhhhhhhhhh like 3 years ago.

don't make yourself look like an incompetent lawyer - how on earth are you going to get clients

Ok.....stupid question/comment:

I was just watching snipets of JB opening statement, and something hit me...does anyone think that JB practiced this opening in front of CM and other attorney's? If he did why in the heck didn't CM say...."Ummm maybe we don't want to get so detailed. I don't think we can cash this check!?" Or did CM think you know what we are probably going to get a mistrial, so no worries.

That opening seems so Law schoolish(if thats a word). I know that I am not an attorney, but from everything I have seen him do, say, or ask is clearly not up to par. I still can't get over the fact that CA has kept him as lead attorney. JMHO!

I am sure that Ashton goes beyond Wikipedia. I would also guess that he uses paralegals who actually graduated from a paralegal program.
