ok - i'll be the first to admit it. i fell asleep. seriously.

i dont' get much sleep at night these days and can usually stay awake through the trial but today........ not a chance in hell.

i woke up when the jury was out and was hoping i didn't miss much - i was right lol

Well, you lost me there! And Michael Baden was reportedly paid $250,000 for his expert testimony in the Phil Spector trial, which oh yeah, his wife was a defense attorney. Not my fave. Plus, his wife is obnoxious as all hell. LOL

I thought today was going to be boring too. Then, fireworks! Of course they started just after I got a text from our oldest son. He's in hospital. He was hit head on and not feeling so great. Need to shower and head to the hospital.

This while DH is recoving from surgery he had in early May as a result of being rear-ended in December.

Oh no! When it rains, it pours! Hope everything is OK.

WHY did they NOT bring up the syringe with the chloroform in it???
( there was a syringe with chloroform , right?)

& WHY is the defense trying so hard to prove nothing was in the trunk ( blood , etc) when they said George disposed of the body. wouldn't they be trying to prove george put Caylee in the trunk?

& all this blood stuff, really, would there actually be blood on caseys clothes etc, when she suffocated caylee ( or whatever) it would have beena bloodless kill , right? she didn't stab her,,,,,, ( well, none that the ME can find)

oh side note... there is a TON of evidence that we have all heard of ( & can find on internet) about this case. why don't they put it all on? I go back to the OJ trial & wonder the same thing. did you watch the pre trial phase ( the grand jury trial I think it was ) they had the car involved with the mechanics/guards testifying stuff, as to stuff that happened when it was stored,, & many other things that were NOT brought up in the actual trial.

He says if there was chloroform in the bottle, they would have mentioned it.

Lot of information going around that is accepted as fact that isn't.

Trying to get paternity in

How do we know that an adult Casey did not pursue her brother. At the age she got pregnant, as yucky as it is--if she and Lee got together, how do we k know she didn't pursue him. IOW, I have reasonable doubt and there is no evidence they even did the deed let alone who initiated it.

Plus if the X-rated stuff is plausible, it would fit that she could have asked him. (also explains why she can't figure out who the daddy is)

JVM said last night (via expert in response to viewer question)...there was some presence of male DNA on the bottle and they may not have wanted to Confuse the jury.

Not that Baez would use it, but if the state does not submit an item into evidence (like the blanket or bottle with syringe?---is it cometely off limits to defense. IOW--does the state "own" it and Defense can have it tested or examined, but can only respond in court if it is submitted? Thx!

Yes, and no he is not the father. It is very unusual to test relatives for paternity and I am very interested as to who DID request these tests. Caylee's father is unknown.
