I have a question about the issue of "banding" on hair that shows it's from a decomposing body. Wouldn't they have found the same banding on the hair mat that was found in the woods?

That's what I was thinking, too. And didn't the judge say some of the "banding" evidence couldn't be used for some reason?

Yeah - because school kids love nothing more than playing with a dead child's body/remains, right? And seeing a dead body/remains of a little girl would not freak them out enough to run and tell someone about it. Finally, they'd keep their mouths shut after seeing and putting a heart sticker on the dead body/remains. Riiiiiight ....

I think Caylee was actually found on something of a path into the woods. I think kids probably went in there...I know we did, woods near us. And with it being an elementary school, they'd be most likely to have stickers. I'm guessing the Defense is saying that that explains the sticker on the cardboard, and they're disputing whether there was a heart shaped sticker at all on the duct tape.

Exactly! I was on the jury for a trial and if anyone wanted to see evidence throughout the trial, all we had to do was send a note to the judge through the police officers that stood outside the courtroom and escorted us to/from the courtroom. Just because they say "the jury", it doesn't mean everyone in the jury ... it means a jury member. Although, once the evidence is in the room, all jurors have the right to look at it.

Well, there ya go! The commentators are still talking about it, but without stating what WE figured out.

Mother of all that is good and holy, HLN cuts in at the worst possible times! What the heck!?!? I am a bit behind and at least can fast forward through commercials but still!

The Tattoo Guy (Williams) is up now and they cut right out when he was saying how long he worked at Iron whatever Tattoo. I didn't get to see ICA mouth "That's not right" and I'm mad!!!!!!

FWIW, ICA's tattoo is terrible!!!!! It looks crooked for starters and the calligraphy (if you can call it that) is terrible!!!

Hmmm...ok I'm lost again.

cindy kept saying the one roll of tape they had was black and george (and her) used it to put up posters and fix the ones that protesters ripped down but they put up a picture of one of these "Have you seen Caylee" posters and the tape was clearly grey not black.

so either she's confused as to the colour or lying.


oh they are just talking about the tape being silver not black

Cool! And you needed a "belly ring spacer"? Learn something new every day on the DIS. Will have to mention that to pregnant DD...she has a belly ring.

Commentators said it will be interesting to see what he has to say, knowing her from before she was a mother. But I wonder what the defense will say about the number of years.

I agree, but the guy is cute. LOL I'm a big fan of GOOD calligraphy, so not too keen on that tattoo.

On a side note: I just want to say "thanks" to everyone here that there has been a place where I can discuss this while it's going on. My family has no interest in this trial.
