I googled the question about the jury asking about evidence during the trial and from what I understand about the articles I read is that some jurisdictions have had Jury Reform. It allows the jurors to be active participants including juror note taking, pre-deliberation discussions, and the right to ask questions. One article states this in only for a civil trial but this article was written in 1999. Maybe Jury reform has expanded to criminal trials and is allowing jurors to ask questions throughout so they can better recall the facts.
Judge Perry specifically tells the jury not to discuss anything among themselves. Now, the other part of that paragraph, mentions the right to ask questions, and as I stated above, maybe that question actually came from ONE juror.
Heart sticker residue n the duct tape. Heart sticker page in Casey's room, and now Baez is questioning the witness that there'sw an elementary school near where Caylee's body was found. So one of the schoolkids put the sticker on the duct tape on Caylees body??
Yeah - because school kids love nothing more than playing with a dead child's body/remains, right? And seeing a dead body/remains of a little girl would not freak them out enough to run and tell someone about it. Finally, they'd keep their mouths shut after seeing and putting a heart sticker on the dead body/remains. Riiiiiight ....
Exactly! I was on the jury for a trial and if anyone wanted to see evidence throughout the trial, all we had to do was send a note to the judge through the police officers that stood outside the courtroom and escorted us to/from the courtroom. Just because they say "the jury", it doesn't mean everyone in the jury ... it means a jury member. Although, once the evidence is in the room, all jurors have the right to look at it.
I have a question about the issue of "banding" on hair that shows it's from a decomposing body. Wouldn't they have found the same banding on the hair mat that was found in the woods?
It doesn't. I don't know why Baez questioned her about that, especially since he had to have known the tape was black and not the same gray tape that was used on caylee.
