Casey Anthony TRIAL thread #2

I would hope that she is feeling some kind of guilt thinking that she did this to her daughter, but sadly, I don't think so... I agree with you!

There is "sorry because you are sorry your hurt someone" and there is "sorry, because you got caught".

Anything we witness about Casey feeling any "bad" for what is taking place, is because of the latter.

She is crying because she is caught and the tears will help garner sympathy.

Usually don't we cry when we reminisce about what was lost? Crying over photos of the remains is too little, too late, IMHO.

Okay, so those tears actually look real. She's not faking it now, but who is she crying for?

Herself. She has had 3 years to have done something to avoid all of this. Too little too late. This caring should have come BEFORE she killed her daughter, stuck her in a trunk and threw her out like yesterday's trash!

Got it! :thumbsup2 I must have missed her big cross examination. I am really getting tired of my kids having a social life and making me miss parts of the trial! I have no life; why can't they follow suit? :lmao:
I feel lucky to have 3 adult children who can take care of themselves (only one at home until he goes to college in September). Last week was his prom, and after picture-taking, my DD (20) and I went to Target, and I said to her "Is he coming home tonight?" LOL She had a fit! Said that when SHE was in HS there was NO WAY I'd not know what she was doing after prom. I said "Was there a BIG TRIAL going on when YOU went to the prom?" Seriously tho, I knew he had discussed it with DH. And HE is 18 already...she was only 17 at the time of her prom. So there!
Here we go again....
 They can't keep ending court early! :confused3

Yesterday after court ended early, WESH had on a Body Language Expert regarding Casey's crying. She said you can clearly see that her crying was out of worry and panic - not sadness. She was worrying about what would happen to her now, not sad about what she did/what happened to her kid.

That makes sense.

I was looking at the tapes from yesterday and I did not see any redness in her eyes as there would be after crying.

I agree.

The commentators on one of the local stations just mentioned that all of the tissue that Casey is using stay dry, meaning not really any tears. I think she's trying to put on a big show.

Can I just repeat how much I hate the tru tv commericals?? :sad2: They are so loud and the shows they advertise are obnoxious.

Anybody know what channel and time court will be televised tomorrow? I want to set my DVR.
9 AM. And yeah, some of those commercials (Storage Hunters??) are pretty annoying.
Those tears are really flowing now. Right when the doctor started talking about the bones getting chewed on by animals, Casey lost it. She's realizing her goose is cooked!
I guess in all that chloroform/neck breaking/home invasion googling, she forgot to google "what happens to a body tossed into the woods."

There is no redness in her eyes, as there was none yesterday. I bet Linda would love to walk over pull up Caseys head and say Suck it up you did this, its time to grow up now. You put her there now you need to look. That would hurt OUCH

That is the million dollar question! I've thought about this since the trial ended so early yesterday. While I would like to think some of those tears are for Caylee, I think the reality of what she did has finally settled in with her. I think she knows she's done now. She is cracking, but I don't believe it's for Caylee, I believe it's because she knows her fate may very well be sealed now.

Totally agree with this!

Tru TV commentator called it "scrunch crying" yesterday. Scrunch your face up & dab at your eyes with the tissue to make it look like you are crying.

Wow, they are saying that someone was trampled this morning lining up to get into court. They went to the hospital and had a wrist injury. They said there were paramedics, fire crews and security at the scene.:confused3

InSession is going to show an interview with "Neck Brace Guy"...the one who runs every day to get a seat in the courtroom. All sorts of people are gaining fame off of this case. Baez will probably get him on the stand and question whether he's earning money off of this. ;)

A woman was trampled in that rush to get a seat in the courtroom this morning? And 3 women were removed from the line. It's getting crazy. Like I said...if nothing else, I'd be too embarrassed to be on TV doing all that.

Mike Brooks (spelling?) was just saying he's seen a seat pass for sale on EBAY that someone got from this case. This is getting crazy.

Thanks for the info about tomorrow Mare!

I'm LOLing the Hardcore Pawn commercial. Did you see the guy say he is smart then smack his face on the metal pole? :rotfl2:
