I think the computer forensics guy is back on the stand? Yesterday people were tweeting that there were Sheriff deputies there to testify and Lee Anthony was there as well .

Let's suppose she gets convicted. And let's suppose she appeals.

Can her new defense atty come up with an entirely different story about what happened? Like say she starts to lie about aliens taking Caylee.

Or is she forever now stuck with using this story of George molesting her as a child & Caylee drowing & George taking her body, and the meter reader moving the body from where ever it was & holding it for months?

Well, because we know she's never going to just tell the truth about what happened.

Just curious.

My Wife (The LAwyer) and I were discussing this case last night. We came to the conclusion that the Defense team is basicly putting up a shell of a defense at this point, We have to wait for their side of the story, but given the pattern of Objections, and type of question being asked, it makes me feel as if they are doing the absolute minimum in order to see the case the prosecution has put together.

Then they will ask for a mistrial at somepoint (Who knows when Bozo is going to succeed...I think he knows how to kill this trial with a silver bullet)

Then the case is retried with the Defense knowing how the Prosecution is going to attack their client. Thus this whole trial we are watching today is little more than a session of Advanced Discovery (IMO)

I'm also now under the impression that Jose will spin it to his advantage for his defense strategy.

Didn't he say in his opening statement that "it went so far that the FBI did a paternity test"? Why DID they do a paternity test? Just based on all the speculation about the name (Cay-Lee) or did they have more to go on? And did they do a paternity test on George? Would the results of the paternity test for Lee rule out George because they're father/son?

Wow. Interesting article, in the sense that they talk about a sidebar. As far as the "lesbian" issue, I'd like to think that people, esp on a jury, aren't going to be swayed by something that has nothing to do with anything; it's the PARTYING that's inappropriate behavior, not the gender of her dance partners.

I've wondered that too! It would SEEM that they have to keep it, since it is the "truth". But so many people (legal commentators) are saying throwing George into the mix wasn't a good move. However, if that's what happened, that's what happened. If they change it, she's a liar and falsely accused someone of a crime.

I think he's just trying to be difficult. That is his neice for heavens sake. If it were my niece I would remember every friggin detail of that conversation!

To me, he just sounds pissed all the way around. Mad at Casey, mad at having to be there, mad his girlfriend and his parents are going through this and just wanting this all to be over.

He hasn't lied yet, though his memory seems to be clouded. Lets see how he is with Baez. Problem he and his parents have is that Casey spun all these stories that they believed. They then spoke to police about it and testified to it in depositions ,thinking they were being helpful in trying to find Caylee. Now, they realize it was all lies. The are married to their previous testimony and they must tell the truth, thereby , further helping to convict Casey and it must be troubling for them.


Disclaimer: While the trial is going on, I tend to think faster than I type. A lot of what I type is very badly written so I apologize LOL

That's what I'm thinking too. This is the biggest event in his life, I would think he'd remember everything. I can't believe he's trying to help Casey since she threw him and his dad under the bus with those sexual allegations.
