They have not come out publicly and said they think she did it. I personally think they must know now, but they love their daughter and don't want her to get the death penalty.

I wonder if they're "ok" at this point with accepting that she could be convicted. Or do they want her found "not guilty" if they DO think she really did it? I mentioned before on this thread...what would they DO with her on the outside? What would Casey do? What kind of life would she have, and with whom, if she was out of prison?

I don't remember all the details of the Andrea Yates case (drowned her 5 kids), I do know she pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity 'n the jury agreed, but Casey needs to be locked up even if it's in a mental institution.

Maybe it's payback to Casey for pulling them in to her web of lies and wild accusations, making them look like they couldn't get a defendant off for a parking ticket etc?

I think the defense looks like they're grasping at straws by making BIG issues out of little issues, as if that's all they have going for them. Getting accusatory about things like LE talking directly to the jury, and the Anthony's not seeing the notice on the front door THAT THEY DON'T USE, etc.

I wonder if the defense team is not just disgusted, bumfuzzled and worried. Their frustration may be spilling over into their already borderline behavior tendencies.

Why would GA try to get her to talk to LE without counsel if he were in on it?! I don't think he is cunning enough to try that as a ruse. He is not faking there!
