I remained calm... I was not happy they were flying through severe storms by the time they finally took off, headed all the way North from Philly, but I had faith Course they didn't get in til 3am <sigh>

Basically, yes. Since this case began, he has been promoted twice. The defense is trying to get across the idea that he is a hotshot cop who took this case as an opportunity to further his career. They are trying to say that LE never gave any possible scenarios, other than Casey, a fair consideration.
