Baez is now confusing himself.
He is really ticking off the judge.

Impressed with George staying calm....he is giving Baez enough rope to hang himself.

Which one are you referring to????? Baez..neither????
:lmao: I did a "huh?? Neither???" LOL

Going back to what the defense stated was George's reaction to finding Caylee dead in the pool, "look what you've done, your mother will never forgive you, you will go to jail for the rest of your life for child neglect." Are they serious that we are supposed to believe this? No one said, "oh no, oh my God, how could this happen." They went straight for who would be blamed and going to prison????
It's just ridiculous! Who goes into a speech covering all the issues, when they just found their grandchild dead?? If I found my grandchild MURDERED with my child standing over her, I'd be too stunned and overcome with grief to respond with anything but horror. Certainly NOT barking at my child that boy, she's in trouble now!

I half expect Baez to whine "Juuuuddggeeee...George is botherin' me!"

I am having some trouble following this trial. I feel like a 'know' a lot about the case due to Nancy Grace (!), but this mess doesn't make sense to me. Normal people don't discover a drowned child and immediately think "let's hide the body". George did not do this, no way. Casey, yes I think she would be capable of that, but why would George? That is something that only happens on tv shows. Is the duct tape staging in case Caylee was found? Now that would go along with the kidnapping by the imaginary nanny story, but who did that task? No way in heck did George know anything about what happened to Caylee.

Can anyone shed some light on why Ray Kronk would discover a body and move it and then find it? Were there signs it had been moved?

I'll try to keep up!

George to Baez..."I'm not trying to be argumentative with you sir, but you're throwing stuff all over the place here." I bet the jury is thinking that too.

MaryAnn, read upthread it was your birthday. Happy Birthday!

Kidshop, welcome to the world of Mr Baiiiiyezzz. None of it makes sense.

Ooh, head of the class dissection! Reveals an awful lot about the mindset of the person who said this -- either George if we are to believe what we've been told, not under oath by the way OR someone flailing about for some sort of reason for their actions?

Be sure you pass a note or whisper in the ear of the Prosecutor so they're sure to pick that up when possible in future questioning.

Think Baez is getting frustrated

Absolutely- he can't hide it anymore that he is totally incompetent and out of his league with a case like this.

It was mentioned up thread that none of the other defense lawyers are doing any of the cross examination, is that because Baez is also a total narcissist? :rolleyes1

I think Baez needs to explain how Kronk came into the mess. How did he know where the body was? Was Kronk there when she Drowned?

We don't know yet about the Roy Kronk specifics. I've been following every minute of the trial, and it's hard to keep up...esp Baez.

George is awesome with his responses to Baez! :thumbsup2

OMG, Baez is an idiot. Love how George is making him look like an incompetent attorney and Perry is getting frustrated with Baez also. I think if he has to tell him to stand in front of a mic when asking questions one more time, he is going to shove it somewhere.

I don't think Baez created the sexual abuse and drowning defense, but I wouldn't be at all surprised that he, with his questioning of her, planted some ideas. And she's so good at creating lies, they each led each other to this defense. I don't think Baez is lying...I think this is what Casey has SAID to him, but how'd that occur? That's what I think, FWIW. :)

She probably saw it on some TV show. Thats the kind of thing she would do, see a small detail about something and weave it into a lie in her life. She really is a sociopath.

This is absurd. I agree he is trying to upset and confuse the witness.

Following the trial closely and have been since the beginning. Leaving for Orlando TOMORROW and I'd love to be able to listen to the live stream on my iPhone. Know of a way? TIA!

Right.

Good for Perry for letting George give Baez a smackdown!

Did any of you just hear that???

It was a faint whisper,,, anyone???

It was off mic.....

I just heard Jose mumble to himself "why oh why God did my murderer client have to have a former law enforcement officer for a dad"
