Not watching at the moment and I don't remember from way back when.

I know when managing a store I always had a video to watch from the prior day. I dont understand why she did not have access to this. Maybe they dont allow managers to view them. In this case they should have contacted amscot for those videos.

The check had long cleared before Amy returned and noticed she had checks missing.

To dispute a check, one must stop payment on it and that cannot be done if the bank already paid.

Hence why Baez eventually reimbursed Amy even though Casey has not had her trial on stolen check charges.

Might be different with every state. I am just stating here in ca. But I am glad that Amy was reimbursed.

They did--I just don't recall why they were not available.

Amscot is a check cashing place, so they have them for obvious reasons. I don't know if the days in question got written over and were not available. But I somewhat recall that it was investigated.

I know we were instructed to keep videos for 30 days. I had plenty of times that the sheriff and detectives come in and get them for stuff.

Cumulative testimony or evidence is a valid ground for objection.

Has Baez actually made an objection on that basis? IMO that indirectly telegraphs to the jury that he concedes the evidence/testimony is valid & wants to move away from it. Just my opinion how some jurors might view this.

On the other hand, he has just made the denial of his objection another possible window for appeal. On the other hand -- lawyers are tricky, they have more than two, he can hope something drops in the parade of witnesses to give him more windows for mistrial or appeal.

He did use the word concede during this morning's motion, but this was all without the jury.

It's possible that a call was not made purely for potential liability reasons.

wow....wow! I suggest reading all the discovery and you may sing a different tune.

Let's hope for Caylee that no one like this is sitting on the jury!! (although I think there may be!) and I believe she used the term abuse for attention....she only told the males in her life, I mean come on.....

The thing to remember is that Caylee is not on trail. Casey is on trial and she deserves to have all testimony heard and all evidence presented before the jury decides her fate. I only hope the jury can do that.

I have watched this case from day one. I have read tons of discovery. I have been watching the trail each day. I have yet to decide my feelings as to her guilt or innocence. Of course, I am leaning one way, but I will not make up my mind until I have heard all the evidence from both sides.

The thing that amazes me about this case is the number of people who had her convicted from the day this thing went public. I totally understand that a beautiful child died. It happens all to often. I understand that none of us can relate to the way in which Casey acted after Caylee's death. It makes no sense to a normal logical mind.

The thing I don't understand is why she is hated so much more than all these other people who have committed even more heinous crimes on their own children. Since this case started, there have been several where kids have been murdered by their parents in horrible ways. They barely got a blip on the radar. I'm sorry, but setting your own child on fire seems a lot more horrible to me. The only thing I can assume is the pictures and videos of Caylee that were broadcast non-stop on local news and on network programs such as Good Morning America and Nancy Grace. Caylee was an adorable little and watching the films is heart wrenching. But, people have Casey Anthony right up there on par with Charles Manson. Throughout my life, I've seen serial killers of children get a lot more compassion than has been evident in this case.

I realize that posting on this thread without wanting to immediately string Casey up is not popular. Sorry. I prefer to wait to form my opinion and I will keep that opinion to myself. I really think people should respect the opinions of others (not referring to myself) who might post something in disagreement to the general consensus here.

while you are certainly entitled to your own opinion i think people are confused as far as how you can have that opinion when the facts are laid out in front of you.

fact: caylee was not kidnapped, there was no kidnapping nanny

fact: caylee was missing for quite some time and casey did not bother to report her missing. in fact she continued partying and even got a "beautiful life" tattoo

the defense is now admitting that caylee was dead that whole time. if you want to buy that she accidentally drowned then i can't stop you but knowing the self-centered person that casey is, there is no way she'd sit in jail for all this time if the whole thing was just an accident

most people who kill their own child at least fake emotion. they cal 911 in tears or go on tv sobbing and begging for their child to be returned. casey did not do any of that. casey is cold-blooded. that's what speaks to most of us i think

We shouldn't compare Casey with others who killed their children as a result of a mental break or psychotic break etc. She is very calculating and self serving, throwing her father under the bus right now is the final straw for a lot of people that were holding out until the trial to pass judgement.

could be, maybe, that those parents dind't kill their child then go out dancing, drinking, sexing, for xxx number days with their child in their trunk then somehow get their own parent to help get rid of the child.

i dont' know why she's soooooooo hated more then others - I live in Canada and while we have our share of murders, child murders are very few and far between but there was one case recently that got the attention of the press however it wasn't the parents who killed the little girl it was a teenager and trust me she was HATED

That said. I do remember how hated that mother was who drove her sons into the lake then said a black man kidnapped them. also how hated the mother who drowned her 5 children was (i just don't remember their names)

i think part of the media blitz for any case comes from just what happened. what the "reasons" were (wanting to party vs ppd vs bf not wanting children) age of the mother or father seems to effect the media as well. younger parents who kill their child seem to get more hated attention and maybe thats because of the "you shouldn't have had her to begin with" attitude of some people when it comes to young teen or early 20's parents i don't know.

i try not to judge who should and shouldn't have children - i'm not in their shoes i can't make their decisions for them but surely there are better ways other then murder.

with soooooooo many associations available for people to get help from abortions before the child is born to adoption to foster care to shrinks and childrens aids welfare mothers allowance food banks part time jobs subsidy...... the list goes on. these people have a multitude of options and murder is just NOT of of them.

You are entitled to form any opinion you want. All I am saying is that I don't think people here should jump on others who might post something that doesn't go with the general consensus. Such a response is what triggered my post.

Again, I still don't understand the venom in this case to other cases, but each to their own.
