I'm sorry you couldn't pay me enough to take that car away. Just knowing that Caylee was killed more then likely in that car.

I hope George and Cindy don't give Caylee items to Casey how heartbreaking for them to have to do

Priceless. And appropriate.

as for this equasearch group - i don't really think there is much merit to their lawsuit. they come on their own to look for caylee. good for them for doing it but you can't try to collect after the fact when they weren't "hired"

you just can't do that - no matter what the circumstances. lets say caylee was kidnapped and found alive. would they then submit a bill to the anthony's for their time? that woudln't stand up either - yes you found the child but we didn't hire you - you can't charge us after the fact.

i understand they are pissed but it was still their decision to go look. I do hope it doesn't stop them for looking for other children in the future though

It makes no sense. The time she's served was for different crimes. These are new crimes, so it should be a new sentence. Why such leniency?

Those who say that the American system is the best one are only partially right. It's the best one if you are the criminal.

I posted this a little bit ago:

Ok my research turned this up

Final arrest for the check charges was September 2008. She pled guilty in January 2010. A total of 16 months in jail so she was given time served and probation.

She was arrested October 2008 for the murder charges. Up until this month she has served 2 years 9 months((35 months))

Today she was sentenced to 4 years for the lies.

48 months for todays sentence minus 35 months she's already done leaves a difference of 13 months.

I read that "gain time" is equal to 12 days per month. So if that's true that means that she has 576 days coming to her---So 1 year and 7 months time off for good behavior

13 months equals roughly 395 days//////576 for good behavior----Means she's out today.

ETA--She was arrested 10/08 for the murder/lying charges---she just had her trial and was found guilty of only the lying. She was in jail for 35 months waiting for the trial and throughout the trial. So all the time she did is used to offset her sentence.

And also my math was off by 6 days but at least it's 6 more days she'll be sitting in jail

They won't have looked it they weren't led to believe she was kidnapped

Thats too bad February sounded better. Guess she better get used to living in a bubble cause I cant imagine she will be able to walk out in public without being harassed.

Speaking of bubbles, I think I am going back to live in my Disney Bubble. Life is so much happier there.

Jane Mitchell is saying KC was a model prisoner - wasn't she in solitaire? did they expect her to fight with herself???? of course she was a MODLE prisoner - she was being protected.

If she was a model prisoner the other ones must have been pretty bad:scared1::scared1:

So sad about only 6 more days. It makes me sick to see that the jurors didn't take the time to ask the questions if they didn't understand. With all the evidence and the tapes they could have reviewed, to me it shows they rushed to judgement. I think if the death penalty had not been involved, Casey would be serving LWOP.
But that's what kills me...I could see the "not guilty" verdict if there weren't lesser charges to consider for a guilty verdict. Ugh.

Casey Jordan on InSession...this case is the CSI effect...everyone watching these shows and wanting instant Forensics and videos, and wrap it all up in an hour. She said "This sends a message...if you can hide a body long enough for it to turn into dry bones, you can get away with murder. It's a chilling thought, but that is what you can deduce from this jury's verdict, is that they demanded a level of forensic evidence that was simply not physically possible under the circumstance of 6 month old remains that had been through the elements...flooding, heat, moisture...and then we ended up with evidence that didn't fly with this jury."

Again. It is not contradictory to believe that Casey killed her daughter (as I do) but still believe the state did not prove the case beyond a reasonable doubt.

And in reality we knew much more than they knew. We heard commentary on the news about it. We talked to our friends about it and chatted on the DIS.

Why does it make them idiots because people who initially thought she was guilty changed their minds? Happens all the time. Why does it make such a difference how long that took?

It's not rocket science. It's all good and well for bystanders to pretend they know better and see how the State messed up. But that would not apply to the jurors.

Based on the evidence heard in trial, a juror thinks she did it then the proof was there. If they think from the trial she didn't, then it wasn't proven

And yes, imo it is simply coddling and a cop out juries receive when it's made an issue they can't be questioned. It's not due to some divine intervention they are on the panel. Their verdict stands and no one argues that, but when they are wrong that's fair game too.

Tim Miller's point tho is that they knowingly misled him and his organization. Specifically, he pointed to Baez's opening statement that Caylee WAS NEVER MISSING. Of course, now Baez will say that opening statements are evidence. ;)

You know, actually, she DID pass those letters back and forth between the other prisoner, and that was against the rules. ::yes::

I agree with Chris Cuomo.... they did not understand their instructions or what those instructions meant.

He didn't come on his own. He never does. He has to be asked to come and search. Cindy asked him to come and search.

Once he got to Orlando by the third day he did not believe Caylee was alive and wanted volunteers to search the woods. Cindy went NUTS! She went on tv and said he was wasting his time because Caylee is alive.

He said he was going to follow ALL leads and Cindy Anthony was done with him. She publicly swore him off and refused to participate in any searches or ask for volunteers.

Instead she once again took to the airwaves and made horrible accusations about Tim saying he only wanted the media spotlight and to profit off of Caylee.

She even went as far as telling Tim that there was a sighting of Caylee in Texas and she wanted him to go back there and search for a live Caylee--Tim didn't buy it but did send members there so as to leave no stone unturned

ETA: She also called him a drunk on national tv

Cindy may have invited him but it was based on KC's lies and KC was home when he got there. I'd be interested in seeing if there was a contract signed and by who.

He was invited based on a fraudulent claim by Casey. Casey's fraud specifically was the basis on whether or not he should come.

I think it reasonable that he sue and see what happens.

I don't think it is offensive to question the jury's verdict, but it is offensive to condemn the jury when you have absolutely no idea what went on in there. You have called them stupid, lazy, unthinking and easily swayed. You contend they were not thorough and didn't take their job seriously just because you don't like the answer they came up with.

No wonder people don't want to serve on juries.

The only person you have to blame here is Casey.

Actually I'm basing my thoughts on the words the jurors themselves have been releasing as to their 'thoughts'. It's sounding more and more like they did not understand their job as jurors. They are making themselves look bad. And it's OK to call them on it, b/c maybe something can be changed so this doesn't happen again. Maybe someone without a high school diploma does not have the thinking skills or knowledge to decipher technical evidence or be capable of understanding complex court instructions.

If I am ever called for jury duty I will happily serve.
