It fascinates me how prosecutors and defense attorneys can be so friendly after a trial. They were having a good ol' time before the hearing today. I don't get over things that quickly. I guess I can strike "Lawyer" off my post-SAHM potential jobs.

And I think Judge Perry should get his own show. I've missed him!

I'd guess that community (of lawyers) is probably a small community and everyone knows everyone. On the "ice" they are worst enemies and "off the ice" they are friends.

To these people, it's a job. They are there for their client and, out of court, they are regular people who probably deal with each other on a somewhat regular basis.

The competition is on the field and gone when they come off the field.

Do you really think Baez thought Casey didn't do it? I'm sure he thought she was guilty and was hired to pretend he thought otherwise.

I'm assuming that by releasing the video, Casey will not lose her top spot as the most hated person in America. This will likely just reaffirm America's hatred.

I guess I can see that. Seeing that Casey is free as a bird now with her OJ quality not guilty verdict, I still think she would be so thrilled to be out that this video release wouldn't matter much to her.

I believe he said he needed to go back and review the tape. But there was no ruling for now. Dont know how long before anything more happens.

Well, according to Mr Baez, it was tantamount to torture. Law enforcement wanted to record her reaction to see if she would incriminate herself but , to him, it was just an exercise in cruel and unusual punishment. And yes, he did use the word torture.

BUT..he says she was given a sedative therefore making it a medical act, therefore covered by the HIPPA laws. Now, he verbally , in open court, explained what happened but somehow, talking about it isn't a violation of HIPPA but showing it is... go figure.

I really haven't had any curiosity to see the tape anymore but this incredibly need to block it really has me curios now. Especially since , apparently, its just a video tape of a screen showing quickly changing still images as the equipment they really wanted to use didn't work...

I dont know why they're fighting the release of the video so much.

CA already said on Dr. Phil that she knew the body was in the woods and iirc something about "it wasnt in the place KC said it was" so Ca thought it had been moved. This really irritated me, so exactly when did KC tell them Caylee was in the woods and how long before or was it after she was found did KC tell CA that.
