I'm torn about viewing the interview. DH HAS been wanting a new TV, so chances are he'll encourage me to watch & keep a lot of heavy stuff within my reach.

Methinks this will backfire on the Ant's big-time:

A) If they're looking to get sympathy, their new spin about seizures may turn even their "supporters" against them. Hard to ignore why this was never brought up during the trial.

B) If they're just looking for a paycheck, this will be their last one...from the Today Show clip, Dr. Phil is already covering his butt that the IRS audits foundations & "reasonable" expenses to directors, so the whole world will be watching...

Dr. Phil was on the Today show this morning promoting the show that is actually airing Tue and Wed. Im still torn to watch it because I dont want to give his show ratings whatsoever. From the Today show clips I only learned that they hate the defense team for the allegations, and CA still doesn't believe Caylee was in the trunk of the car. Dr. phil also wanted to emphasize the point of IRS keeping track of Caylees fund and they wont be touching any of the money he is donating because the records are public....

Okay I admit that I am not up with everything these past weeks but WHY if would anyone need to say that the IRS is keeping track of funds IF there was not something wrong in the past. And so now the funds are for Grandparents rights? Before I had heard George say it was to help find missing children. SO what is the flavor of the week today?

I go back and forth about watching it. I'm still in a funk from the last few days of thinking about 9/11 ...not sure I want to deal with getting myself going about anything. It sure would be "fun" for the "CA threads alumni" to watch together tho! We could have a major snarkfest and throw things at the TV.

I have no problems with anyone watching...it's people profiting off it that makes my skin crawl. I would love a major snarkfest

Okay I admit that I am not up with everything these past weeks but WHY if would anyone need to say that the IRS is keeping track of funds IF there was not something wrong in the past. And so now the funds are for Grandparents rights? Before I had heard George say it was to help find missing children. SO what is the flavor of the week today?

I think they just want to make sure everyone knows that George and Cindy aren't getting paid personally for the interview, because that could be the kiss of death to a show's ratings. And yeah, what's up with the purpose of their organization (which according to Dr Phil, hasn't been set up officially yet)? I have a problem with BOTH of their potential organizations...Caylee was NEVER MISSING. And for them to have an organization about "Grandparents' rights" is pretty insulting. They helped get their granddaughter's killer acquitted. Caylee is the one who lost her right to live.

I found that odd as well. Made me wonder...if the IRS weren't keeping them honest....

But it was mentioned for 3 reasons. Dr Phil is trying to keep his hands clean. Casey Anthony is in trouble with the IRS. And the Anthony family knows folks don't trust them. So by mentioning the IRS, they hope folks wil trust.

Unfortunately, after too many episodes of American Greed, just because you mention the IRS and public record is not proof that you won't defraud people.

OMG i just tuned into the Joy Behar show and now the seizure discussion is going on! They had ICA fully evaluated and NOTHING (no diagnosis) after the first Grand-mal seizure. CA thinks she has/had a brain tumor. One in 07 and one a year and a half later, CA's response was "well what about now" (ie something wrong) after the second seizure happened? . She cannot just come to grips that her daughter did anything wrong much less kill her granddaughter.
