I was watching my local stations last night and they had on the same team of defense lawyers on that covered the trial. They were really annoying me with their constant call for people to move on, get on with their lives, remember all the other children that have died, etc. All the while, they are on the air at 1:30am watching a helicopter follow a vehicle that may or may not be Casey and speculating where she may or may not be going. Isn't that a bit hypocritical? They are telling people not to treat her like a celebrity but they are part of the media that is treating her just like one. Ugh!


On another note, the former lawyer for GA & CA was on last night, Brad Conway. I liked his observation. He felt Casey will be heading to PR to stay with relative of JB because he feels Casey is a cash cow for Baez and he will keep her in his sights as long as she is of value to him. Sending her off with relatives or friends in Ohio that he doesn't know may cause them to influence her decisions. He is going to try and control the situation for as long as possible to get the most out of Casey. When she gets bored or tired of the situation and starts causing him trouble, he will dump her like a bad habit.

Oh, that irks the heck out of me...those news people talking about moving on, when they're deeper into it than anyone.

That sounds like a feasible scenario with Baez and Casey. I think they have a mutually controlling relationship, if that makes sense. I think she needs to be in control of situations, but he knows how to work her. Eventually, there's going to be some fallout from that. Remember during jury selection when they had the tiff and didn't sit together? Seems like such a long time ago now!

Mark Lippman saying that Baez called his clients, CA & GA, last night to use them as decoys. They declined for safety reasons. They did get word that Casey was safe, though.

I'm at a loss for words (that can be said on the DIS).

I reread those again and some things stick out to me now. Wonder who was giving him the info he wrote down?

Look at page 2. It mentions abuse with George and Lee with ?question mark, then under that it says "Casey says used to give Caylee chloroform. Always in her bed".

Also on page 3 "Casey upset when found out (Baez) wife was pregnant".

Page 7 "Letters (still has 100 or so) FLUSH" (*note by me, these might be the Robyn A letters and what she was supposed to do to get rid of them. I also remember Cindy talking about a plumbing problem and there's a copy somewhere of a plumbers receipt. Wonder if they were flushing some letters down too? )

I think that instead of reading a summer novel, I might go back and read some of the evidence ; there really is some amazing stuff in there.

JMO but I'm not too sure that there wasn't some cooperation between Baez and the A's the whole time, even though they acted like there wasn't. I even wonder if that meeting with Lee and Baez was to go over what/how Cindy was going to perjure herself.

I agree. I had said it on one of the other threads, when Lee testified about overhearing his parents talking about something, and that he (Lee) had gone and spoken to Baez, and it looked like Baez was trying to get Lee to say what he had said to Baez in Baez's office. Only I don't think it was anything. I thought it was all a big production, to make it look like Cindy and George had said *something*, and that Lee was going to come forward and say *something*, but that it was just so awful, he couldn't bring himself to say it. So it gave the impression that there was this big dark secret, when there actually wasn't, and no one had to actually lie about it.

I took an something for my allergies this evening for the first time in a long time. For some reason, the pill has made me feel so off all evening. DH handed me a glass of wine and it only took about four sips for me to start feeling buzzed! I am thinking I should not be mixing drugs and alcohol. If I start posting nonsense (more than normal) you will know why.

Flipped over during a commercial to Geraldo (didn't see Bozo). Now he's trying to show people who had "scandals" in the past who went on to success. Oops! I guess I didn't realize this was just a scandal. 2 minutes of this scuzz-bucket blowhard is all I can take. Back to my regularly scheduled program.

Oh, those pesky scandals...you know, murdering your child and getting away with it.

He was a Marine buddy of Casey's, the one she told on 7/16/08 that she was planning a trip to California to come see him and needed to tell him something. She told him her mother and brother knew, but she wasn`t sure how he would react. Hmmmm....

Let's recall Mark Hawkins. Our Marine who at one time was in California. (to whom some of us suspected Casey was going to bolt to during the "give me one more day" plea to Cindy on the 911 tapes)

It appears that Mark Hawkins' ex is the "Tara" mentioned in one of the jail visitation videos between Cindy and Casey-when Cindy asked "Do you trust Tara" and Casey says "NO! She's a psycho!"

According to Lee's blogs and other sources, apparently, Tara was pregnant by Lee and went back to Mark and told Mark the baby was his. She then got an abortion, never told Lee, divorced Mark, and is now in Michigan with yet another man, possibly her now husband. I have also read that Casey, before all of this, had an affair with Mark which resulted in Caylee. (my note: he claims in his interview while they did date they were not intimate. JMO but I don't think he's being truthful in that answer )

Lee's My Space or blog postings (not sure what that was) were hilarious. He sounds so immature. He reminds me of the Facebook posters that love to update their status to, "Worst day of my life. Depressed" and now he sits back and waits for everyone to say, "Awwww Lee, what's wrong. Text me."

If there is one thing I have learned from this trial it is that the entire Anthony family is weird. I always tell my kids that you never really know what goes on behind closed doors and this family is proof positive. Unfortunately, I don't think we have heard the last of them.

Letters that didn't go thru official channels in prison is considered contraband. Contraband can cause you to lose priveleges as well as add more time to your sentence.

So in order to not get caught with contraband, KC was flushing the letters she received from Robyn down the toilet. She thought that Robyn was doing the same(whoopsie!)

Good point regarding the sponsors. We were a Neilson family once and you're right without the "box" (which is now a piece like a pager you take everywhere) they don't know who's watching what.

I like the idea of boycotts but do they ever really work on a large scale?

Easy enough to take it down, I know. But that girl also looked like a girl, not a woman...she ran like a kid.

I didn't think her hair was long enough, either.

I am only one person but I often think of the quote, ' first they took the man down the street and I did not speak up, then they took my neighbor and I did not speak up, when they came for me there was no one to speak up.' Jesus Christ himself could have his first live interview in the last 2000 years on Today and I still will not watch. However, I have a sneaking suspicion that it is more likely that you would rather interview his evil counterpart instead.

Truly there is a lot of lightning in FLA but what are the chances? It is like there is come cosmic battle going on and I picture the otherworldly powers throwing bolts in combat.
