Cartlidge Piercing

i know this is off disney subject but how many of you have your cartlidge pierced? i want to get mine done but my parents refuse. how should i convince them?

I have mine pierced. Well my mom didn't need much convincing as I pushed her into the store to get hers pierced about 2 years ago, so it would seem a little unfair if she didn't let me get mine pierced. It takes about 1 year to heal and 12 weeks before you can even change it. What reasons are they giving you for not letting you get it...besides the "No."

I have mine, but it did take some convincing. Originally my mom was getting it done, but she changed her mind and didn't want me to do it either. Eventually I begged and pleaded that it was all I wanted for my birthday, and I got it done. It hasn't quite been a year yet, but my ear feels fine and I change the earring all the time.
