I'm not sure if this problem is an isolated case, but I wanted to give everyone a heads up. Last August I decided to book with Cartier Towncar for our upcoming trip, 4/04. I read many good reviews on this board & had an easy time making the reservation & receiving my confirmation. I was told by David (and then by Ali in a follow up) that all was set.
Fast forward to last week.....I decided to reconfirm my reservation. I sent out an e-mail and the following day received a phone message that was very difficult to understand.....the woman spoke English poorly....she said something about not having a reservation for me? I immediately called back, only to get a voice mail after several rings. I left a message and waited. After a few days I called again, this time the woman who left the message answered the phone. She said that she couldn't find my reservation & that if I wanted to make a new one, I would have to call back later. WHAT??? She was very matter of fact, non-apologetic, no explanation offered as to why. I have decided to go with a different company because of this, if they lost my reservation once....with no explanation....who's to say they wouldn't lose another? Has anyone else had this problem, or is it just my luck
