Any idea as to when we will get to see the Carthay Circle menu? I may want to make a WOC reservation, but not without seeing the menu.

I haven't heard anything yet about the menu being released. It wouldn't be unusual for Disney to not release the menu at all. They don't have online menus for any of their restaurants, other third party websites accumulate the data. So we will probably only get information as people eat at the restaurant and post pictures of the menu and food.

Did you see the Disney Parks Blog entry that had a few items from the new menu? It isn't a complete listing, but gives a "taste" of things to come.

Thank you for posting that! It looks too fancy for my taste. I wonder if there'll be a kids menu.

I'm sure there will be a kids menu, I'm anxiously awaiting a lunch menu, I booked DD and I for a 12:30 seating. :)

Disney must think we are all made of money.

I wonder if DCA will be able to sustain a restaurant with these prices. Only time will tell.

I think they will have no problem. If Napa Rose can do well with Chef Sutton, this will be very popular for those with the resources. The GCH always seems to be very full with their .....rates.

The prices don't give me sticker shock really - first of all anything at Disney I expect to be at a premium - this includes counter service as well.

Honestly at the glimpse , the prices are no more than they are at local Downtown restaurants in my area with similar options so it doesn't really bother me much. I see them being able to sustain quite well overall. I understand not everyone likes paying high prices for their food , but for those of us that don't mind it will provide different options not found everywhere else. I rather appreciate the fact that they are providing more than just another place to eat but more of an experience.

I might be in the minority but I am a foodie and it's one of the few things I actually enjoy spending money on , lol.

Oh, I love spending money on food, too. And the menu looks very good. I'm just not sure if DCA as a park will be able to sustain a restaurant with those prices. I'm sure Disney has done their market research to make sure that level of restaurant will do well. I'm guessing that with the increased attendendance they are hoping for, that a percentage of them will be happy to eat at a fine dining restaurant.

WCT is a bit less expensive - granted the menu is less extensive. I can always seem to walk up there without a problem. They used to have the upstairs of WCT as more of a fine dining as I recall, and that went by the wayside. But perhaps that was for different reasons.

I'd love to see Carthay Circle succeed. It's the kind of place I like to eat. Just not sure I'd eat there more than once a trip, or even every trip. In general, I don't go to Disney for the food.

those salads look awesome! I'm also curious about the kids' menu there so will be watching for when that gets out. Guessing June 15th...:goodvibes

Anyone know if the biscuits will count as a starter for the WOC tix?? I'd also love to see the dessert menu, cause I can't imagine the 3 of us ordering 3 starters and 3 entrees, we'd be stuffed... 1 starter, 3 entrees and 2 desserts may be easier to do!

According to the Disney parks blogs, for every two people it is supposed to be the following:
1 Starter, 2 Entrees and 1 Dessert for WOC tickets. I do not know how that would work with 3 people.

Really? I thought you only need 1 entree with EITHER a starter or dessert. That seems a bit excessive!

I think it works for two people. Essentially one person gets an entree with a starter, and the other person gets an entree with a dessert. Personally, it seems like a lot of food, but who knows what serving sizes are like? :)

I thought I had read 1 entree plus either 1 starter or 1 dessert per person. Maybe I was mistaken.

When I called to make my reservation for WOC - They stated " Each member of your party to receive a WOC ticket must order 1 entree and a starter OR dessert". That is the information I was provided at least.

Ok, I understand! I guess I was confused because it said the appitizers could be shared on the menu meaning its probably A LOT of food for just one person.

But I guess at the same time, people split the appitizers, then Disney will be out of half the money for the ticket! ;)

Well, I'm pretty sure I will just do the WOC package deal once anyway so thats ok!

And the prices dont seem TOO outrageous! There are quite a few items in the $20-30 range. Even for the dinner menu, only a few things are above $40 so thats not too bad!
