Carthay Circle Restaurant finally dropped reservations through Oct 2nd

Carthay is finally up! Get ‘em while they’re hot!
I just noticed them while doing a quick check before heading to bed at 10 pm Pacific. Whatever happened to 3 am, or 6 am, or 2 am? No rhyme or reason. But I’m quite happy not to wake up random times in the middle of the night to check my phone.

My Disney account has been wonky this week. It was very frustrating because Carthay was an absolute must for me! I checked for updates, deleted/installed the app, deleted/added the same Disney CC...and that seemed to do the trick. I woke up on my own about 0230 today, and the crazy in me just had to give it a shot. My ressie time isn't ideal, but I'm happy to have it!

I just randomly lucked in to a 6:30 Carthay reservation for 5 this Sat. Probably going to cancel it as not sure I want to go there with 3 kids, but haven't been able to secure anyhing else yet at a decent time. Maybe just DW and I will go and we can send the kids off to Award Wieners for hot dogs, lol.

Sadly, doesn't look like they've posted any reservations for Oogie Boogie Bash days...I'm hoping to eat there at 4:30 before OBB and I'm checking constantly....

Same as me. Got Carthay Circle Lounge for 9/11 at 4:00 PM as my backup but hope to see a real Carthay Circle Restaurant for us. If not, I got every other restaurant I wanted so not the full end of the world but would be nice.

OoooOo...that's a great idea, to have dinner before Oogie Boogie. I'll have to keep an eye out for open times at DCA.

Edited to add: Just booked Wine Country Trattoria for 4:20. Perfecto!

We were able to grab a Lamplight Lounge 4:55 (last available slot). Looking forward to enjoying lobster nachos in our costumes!

Tuesday Sept 14th- we have tickets for OBB that evening. And, we reserved the regular restaurant, not the lounge.

Alright, I caved. As I really wanted to experience the full Carthay Circle experience instead of just the lounge and they still have not posted reservations for any Oogie Boogie night, I got us reservations for our first day which is a DL day but I had the opening for a dinner so I took it. Just hop over to DCA to enjoy dinner and right back to DL for riding rides at night. Replaced the Carthay Lounge before Oogie Boogie with Wine Country now.
