This weekend we took the boys to Monster Jam in Iowa, they loved it! I have to admit it is a lot of fun watching the big trucks and big jumps! The boys started back to school today after 2 weeks off, was a hard morning. It will take a while to get back in the swing of things. My hubby is still having a lot of stomach issues and will be getting tested for lactose intolerance tomorrow. He has celiacs and a lot of times these things go together. Meal planning just got a lot harder! I feel so bad for him!! I try not to eat things he can't in front of him, but so hard! We are so used to dealing with Carter's medical issues that it throws us off when it isn't him. Thought I would share a couple of pics.

These are our wish shirts given to us from MAW. I just love the colors together!!

This is the stuff I ordered from MAW marketplace. I plan of tye-dying the white MAW shirts that way we have 2 shirts to wear. The star pens light up and will look great on lanyards. The hat is a little big on the kids but a must in the sun. The bubble pens are for autographs and then just had to have the luggage tags!

So sorry about DH's stomach issues & dietary restrictions, it does make things complicated , and I'm very glad that Angel is no longer on dietary restrictions Praying for DH's test today. Yay for having a great time at Monster Jam. Love that your chapter has different colored MAW shirts. Glad you found some great MAW items, and your idea to tie dye the white shirts is fantastic!

Thanks Christi you are always so sweet! Haven't heard back on Bryan's test yet. I actually stole the tye dye idea from a friend that went on a MAW this summer. We will see how they turn out!

So we helped sell raffle tickets for MAW at the auto show this weekend! Had a lot of fun and they put a picture of Carter on MAW Nebraska fb page! Our wish granter emailed me today and as soon as they hear back from DCL they want us to go to the local radio station that supports MAW and grant Carter's wish on the air! Should be really exciting, hopefully it is getting closer! The waiting is so hard!!! One of my friends little boys that has the same immune def as Carter just spent a week in the hospital with influenzae A and pneumonia. So scary and just hoping our flu shots work! It is so bad right now and we are doing about 15 flu tests a day at work, horrible year. Carter is having a really bad headache tonight, so guess it is time to go rub some temples. Hope everyone is having a great week.

YEA!!!! We have dates!!!!] SO excited Heard from Carter's wish granter today and we are cruising on the Dream April 6-11!!! We will be heading to Omaha (1 hr away) on Friday April 5 stay the night in a hotel. Then we will fly to Orlando on Sat April 6 and stay the night at the Hyatt. I am sooooo excited, litterally jumping up and down. Now it all seems real plus I can now plan! I am not telling Carter so that within the next 2 weeks they can grant his wish on the radio live. It is so hard not to tell him, but that way he can be surprised! Not sure on any times of flights but mainly I was just concerned about getting dates and request into work for the days off. Now we will just wait to hear more info on our room, flights, and everything in between.

I have been busy working on trip projects!

Here are the pillow cases I did for the boys. On the first day of the cruise you turn these in at the desk and on the last day get them returned with all the characters signatures!

I also thought our Wish Granters needed cool new shirts! Going to give them to them when they grant Carter his wish!!

Currently working on our fish extender so I will post pics soon as I finish. It was really nice here today so we decided to tye dye their MAW shirts as well.

You embroider??? How cool is that! I love your projects and I hope the wish granters are more gracious than ours were when Lisa and Rachel gave them a little gift (I KNOW they will be, most would and those shirts are AWESOME)!!! How fun about the pillow cases! You have talent!
