Carsland Question

I was just curious about something. It will be awhile before I head out West again, however I thought the cozy cone cups were so cute and I heard they were like going in a few hours. I heard that they were just going to use plain old Disneyland cups for now. Do you think they will order more of the cozy cone cups? I would think they would since they have that whole area dedicated to Carsland.

You can get the Cozy Cone drinks in regular cups or the extra cost souvenire cups. As long as they sell the souvenire cups they will keep putting them on the shelves. These cups have a 4 digit profit margin.

As of now the cups are not available. I have been over to the cones a couple of times after they sold out and the CM's have been telling guests that indeed they will be back but not till at least the end of July and maybe longer.

Thank you for your answers, not sure if this really helps or not, one poster says you can get them by paying the extra cost for the souviner cups and then another one says they won't have any till July.

I know you think you are getting conflicting info. The cone cups sold out within a week and a held of Carsland opening. The menu signs no longer list them to get with your soda. Like the other poster said, they are making Disney money (I will not speculate the profit margin, but they are making a profit on them) so they will be back. When, that's the big question. According to the CM's that work there the end of this month to sometime next month.

The PP is right, the cones are definitely not available right now. They're not listed on the menu as an offering at all. (The much sought-after Lightning McQueen popcorn bucket remains available however.)

I asked around this weekend as to when the cones would be back and got answers varying from "end of July" to "end of August" so I think the only safe bet is that they'll be back sometime before the end of summer.

I'd wager Disney just underestimated demand for these. I personally always figured "it's just a cup why all the hype" and bet someone in Disney's marketing department thought the same and hence didn't order enough in the first batch

A CM told me they got a new shipment on the 4th and they were sold out by the morning of the 5th.
