I Just wanted to ask about getting on the "Radiator Springs Racers" without the benefit of a Morning magic ticket.
We may be staying at a good neighbor hotel checking in on a Tuesday the last week of August.
From what I have read EMH days for CA IS Wednesday and Friday. We would have on Morning Magic pass only good for one of those days. With that being said (our son loves Radiator Springs Racers) will Fast Passes still be available when we are able to get in the park on the day we don't have Early Access?

From what I remember from several years ago, the lines were crazy and I think fast passes were gone, but I don't remember when they were out.

I know it's not going to change anything, but I just would like to have an idea of what we are up against in regards to getting passes or not.

Thank you :)

We've never done fast passes for RSR. We get as close as possible to rope and head straight to the line. Most we've waited is 40 min by going straight there, least is about 15 min. If you go in with a no fast pass plan and don't dilly-dally at all, it's not bad.

EMH/MM at Disneyland is Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. EMH at DCA is on all the other days of the week. EMH at DCA is only for on-site hotel guests.

That being said, Fast Pass machines do not start distributing Fast Passes until regular park opening. So even if you go to DCA on an EMH day, you can't get a FP for RSR until the regular park opening time. The line for those FPs will be long, but from what I've heard, it moves quickly.

Thank you both! I never knew that about the Fast Passes.

and often RSR is down first thing in the am. You can't get fastpasses until it's running.

RSR FP are not distributed during EMH/EE. In fact they are lasting several hours these days.

I would wait an hour then go back to get one, so you aren't wasting 30 minutes to an hour in line getting one.

When we were there in June we got distracted with Anna & Elsa and other stuff for my 4 year olds and didn't get to the RSR fastpass machines until around 9:45am and the fastpasses were going for 3ish then. We were leaving for naptime and dinner in the afternoons so I stalked the machine for about an hour while the kids did bugs land until it got to 6:20. I don't know how long they lasted after that. I think they were still given passes when we left the park around 2pm but I'm not sure of that. I wouldn't stress about them too much.

Also, since you mentioned you are staying offsite, the Magic Morning with a 3+ day ticket is for Disneyland only. You wouldn't be able to use that one for DCA.

It's not as crazy as it was when the ride opened a few years ago. Now you can pick up a FP in the late morning, early afternoon with no problems. We have tried to time getting a FP after dark and we have literally waited a few hours to get something in the evening.

We got back a week ago, They were lasting until around 2 pm on most days from what I could tell. There was never a 30min/1 hour wait for FP either, it was really smooth, they have several CM's there to help out those who are FP challenged, and I never waited more than about 2 mins to get ours, even around park opening.
