what is the "Cars" event that is listed under DCA parades on the Disney calendar? I know that there was a pre-parade event listed at one time, but this appears to be something different, and it happens several times a day.

I would classify it as a character Location. They come out and hang there for a bit, you can take pictures with Lightning McQueen and Mater and then they go backstage for a bit and come out later and repeat.

It's very cute. The cars are pretty close to being full size cars and they have eyes that move and they make all sorts of Cars noises.

I'd be willing to bet they are because aren't they releasing it on DVD in November for the Christmas season? Gotta keep the hype up to sell the merch tie ins.


Edit: Yep, releasing on DVD Nov 7 So chnaces are good they will have it then
