Cars via Hotwire - national rental agencies or no-name?

Has anyone gotten any cars from a non-national rental firm? Such as u-save, carl's or other off-brands?

Wondering if I should take my chances with Hotwire.

Hotwire and Priceline have a specific list of vendors, here is Hotwire's list:

When you go to the car rental page (not just the quick reserve on the main page) it also lists the agencies.
