Hi All,

Now I don't know if I'm imagining things here.... are there little cars you can actually go in to ride up and down main street or have I dreamt this?? :rotfl2:

If there are, does anyone know how you go about getting a ride in them and how much it costs?

Thank you!! :thumbsup2

no, you're definitely not dreaming :rotfl:.
The Main St vehicles are out in the mornings, they start in EMH, and they don't cost anything. There are little stops dotted around the banstand area (and up near the Castle) where the vehicles stop and take on/drop off passengers. They take you one way then you get off (so either bandstand to Castle, or Castle to bandstand :)).

It's free :) There are stops on the Main St square and at the bottom near the information board (around the central plaza)

There's several vehicules including a paddy wagon and a bus :thumbsup2

Ah that's fab, thanks you 2, just happy I'm not going mad!! :rotfl:

So if we just stand on these spots and wait we'll get on and for free? Sounds great to me! :) just trying to think of some little different touches we can add this time round for the kids! Not that they'll probably need any more excitement -my DS was excited enough with the cowboy bunked last time, easily pleased! Haha:rotfl2:

Thanks again for our help, much appreciated :thumbsup2 xx

We still haven't managed a ride in a car/bus yet and have been a few times :lmao:. But, this last trip we finally got around to getting on the train which was nice! We got on and the heavens opened so ended up going around 3 times before getting off (got our monies worth!!:rotfl2:).

So, if you haven't done that, it's worth a go too - I'm sure your DS would like it :).

Have a great trip!

Oooh no, that's another thing we didn't get round to last time (not sure why we kept meaning to?!) fab tip for if it rains though and It looks like we will have at least one day of some rain/storms while we're there :)

My DS (6) and DD (3) will both love that I'm sure!!

Thanks so much for your help :thumbsup2

Yes they are there although not around very often or we haven't seen them very often! The train ride from Main St to Main St offers a differnt view of things and in my book is well worth doing - Mian St can be crowded though and normally involves a wait!
