Good or bad?

Ok we want to do rsr at least once maybe twice.

So if we head in the 30mins early and wait for the rope drope and to head for fps. (would those who waited for park opening from ee still be in line for there fp (as ive been led to belive fp are not open in ee?

If so then could i take my tickets grab woc fp try get blue for the up front rail place

then head to fp mechine for rsr (where hubby would have went to stand in line while i got woc fp.

Then get sr fp and then head to rsr the ride and try to get on it first thing?

would that 20mins getting fp be better spent going for rsr?

we have one day dedicated to dca and we only have a few things we want to do there

tot, grr and sorring are the other two besieds woc and rsr we are making our must see do's.

When are you going to be there?

If there is EE, yes, there will be a line for RSR FPs when you go in the gates.

Personally, I would not forgo the FP line in favor of getting in the standby line right away. The reason is because the ride breaks down VERY frequently. Two of the three mornings we were there recently, it broke down 15 minutes after park opening - just as the non-EE hordes got in line. Many of the breakdowns when we were there lasted 2 hours. On the other hand, the FP line was consistently very short. (Waited, rode, got back in line within 12 minutes.) And, you can bail and check back later if the ride is down. I think an RSR FP is a valuable thing. You could always get the FPs and then wait in the single rider line if you want to ride more than once.

I would not waste any time in the early hours getting FPs for WOC. We got ours around 11:00 in the blue section and that was over a very busy holiday weekend. If I were you, I'd get the RSR FPs, ride as single riders (if you want to), then ride Luigi's first and then Mater's before the lines are long. You could grab the WOC FPs while your DH is in line for RSR but I wouldn't risk it because if he gets to the front and doesn't have the tickets you'll be out of luck for RSR. I'd do CL first, then head over to get WOC FPs and, if you can get more FPs, get them for GRR or Soarin', whichever has a longer standby line.

I would get in line for RSR FP, then head to the SR line (your DS will probably not ride with you), then after that head to the WoC FP line and get those. I think that will be your best bet.
