Carryons - can I bring mineral/powder makeup?

I looked online at the restrictions for carryons, and I see the liquid/gel info, and makeup info, but I don't see mineral makups, in powder form. Does anyone know if I'm allowed to bring this in my carryon? Thanks.

There's not going to be a listing of every single thing you CAN bring, so rest assured if it's NOT listed, it's OK to carry on.

It's not a liquid, it's not a gel, it's not a potential weapon or a volatile substance that could accidentally catch fire or explode. Thus, it's fine to carry into an airliner.

YMMV, but I carried full-size jars of mineral makeup in my carry-on over Christmas and got my bags searched at three of airports (including the last one, Philadelphia). After the third time, I asked why I was being searched and was told that my mineral makeup was dense enough that, along with other things in my bag, to raise red flags. (The other thing that was of interest, as it has been in the past, is my electric toothbrush.) So they searched my bag, found nothing, and let me through.

Thanks for asking this! I was just thinking about this, this morning and trying to figure out what I would do if I had to check it! Since I'm going during easter and not Halloween I don't even want to think about what I would look like!
