This is an odd question I know, but it seems you can count on DISers on these boards to have helpful suggestions about virtually everything! We're cruising this summer and I'm realizing that virtually NONE of my cruise clothes have pockets! I've got an iPhone 6 plus that I want to have on me at all times for the camera and texting app purposes, so I'm looking for a convenient way to carry my phone while on board without a purse. Has anyone found a product that gives your phone the ability to clip/attach to your CC lanyard somehow? That would be the ideal solution, then I could carry my phone and keycard on my neck and be able to very easily and quickly access my camera too. I do not want anything like a belt/holster clip. My phone is in a slim Otterbox case, but I'm willing to temporarily switch to something different if it will clip to my lanyard. Creative ideas or product suggestions? TIA!!!

I have this leather case, same with my iPad.....but on the back of my iPhone it has a removable clip.
That way I can just clip it on my waistband. I would never be able to carry around my neck, it would drive me crazy!!!! I rather had it in a spot that is much more comfortable.image.jpgimage.jpg

I don't understand this clothes without pockets thing. That is a priority for all my clothes. I have two skirts that don't have pockets and they are the two least worn pieces of clothing I own. And don't even get me started on pants with fake pockets.

Flip belt is great for working out (I have one!), but doesn't make for a really good fashion accessory in vacation pictures....IMHO. I also have an iPhone 6+ that is in an otterbox, but don't think I'd want that weight around my neck all day long. I use a crossbody in the parks and on the ship. I like to have stuff like tissues, hand lotion, chapstick, floss, etc with me all the time. I hate to run back to the room.

I purchased a Running Buddy before our cruise last month. It was wonderful. I was able to carry my phone, KTTW card and chap stick.

"The pouch is truly "one size fits all" and is designed to be worn on any waistband by contouring perfectly to your size. The magnetic closure allows you to wear the pouch and run hands-free. It includes a water and sweat resistant inner pocket to hold phones, iPods, and other personal items, and its dri-fit material keeps the pouch comfortable against your skin."

For me...the very easiest is to just clip and go....no need for extra belts, or heavy things around ones neck. I do not have any pockets, and being I've worked for ATT and saw what happens when people put phones in pockets,I would never do it!

I don't love the idea of wearing anything on my neck, but really can't stand anything around my waist or hips, over or under clothing. I wish I could - that would make this much easier! :)

DCL sells a nice cross-body bag on board that would work well. I use this or a slightly larger one onboard.

eBags.com and similar retailors have large selections of small cross-body bags that would work.

Advantages of a cross-body bag include: easy on easy off; no massive weight on your neck (which could cause sore necks and/or headaches), it can hold other things too (including the lanyard) if desired.

Another cross body fan here. I have a Disney Dooney cross body that will be traveling with me - it will hold my wallet, my iPhone 6, and my Canon point and shoot. :D

We have also used cases similar to the ones Crystal O_o suggests, but it's the Dandycase brand (also in Amazon). We use it in the pools and water parks. However, with the iPhone 6 plus, it feels heavy very easily. We cruise in October & you got me thinking as well. Good luck!

I cruise often and, like you, like to use my phone for the camera option. I have a 6 Plus. I usually use a nice crossbody since even if my pants have pockets
the phone wouldn't always fit.

Not sure if you have a Five Below store in your area- they have those waterproof pouches on lanyards there for $5! I have a 6+ as well and it fits perfect and is waterproof :boat:.

Sherpa.

As much as I hate to carry anything, I did use a small cross-body for phone, advil, chapstick, etc. on our cruises.
