Carrying resort refillable mug

We take coffee in them in the mornings, and then usually at night we'll pop in and fill them up on our way out in the evening. I don't use them for water, we take a little cooler bag with bottled water that we keep under the stroller. If we are not taking the stroller, we have a backpack and just rinse the cups out in the bathroom and put them in there.

We had ours with us on our last trip... Fill up in the food court on the way to the bus, carry them around when they had water, and throw them in the backpack when they are empty. Then we would stop in the food court again at the end of the day for a last fill up... It was no problem for us, and, since we paid for the mugs out of pocket, filling them on the way to and from the park was the only way it made sense monetarily...

I didn't bring mine at first.

Later in the trip, I started tossing it in my bag in the morning. I never used it in the parks but we were staying on the far end of Kidani so it was convenient for me to have it upon return to the resort to save myself from what seemed like miles of walking back to the room to grab the cup, to the pool to fill it and back to the room again.

If we were closer to a drink station, I wouldn't have bothered.

We used these last time:

Got a different color for each person to easily tell them apart. Opening at top is big enough for ice cubes from villas to go through. Refilled from QS throughout day with more ice water. Not insulating but much lighter when carrying for 6 people. Easy to clean. Can freeze water in them overnight if you want.

I take a water bottle with a snap lid filled with cold water and crystal light of whatever
flavor I dump in, then once it's empty, I will refill with CS and add more Crystal light of
another flavor. I take a very tiny funnel so that I get all of the ice water,
and then I am able to savor the cold water. I have a pocket in my bag that
holds the water bottle.Plus, I pin a hand towel around the strap of my bag to wipe my face
or the little one I have with me and this works great to wipe the water bottle as well. :flower1::daisy:

I used to have the refillable mug, but with no stroller any longer I don't have anywhere to put it so don't even bother buying it any more. Instead, we get a 2-liter of soda at the gift shop and keep it in the room's fridge for evening drinks. Even at crazy hotel prices ($4 for a 2-liter, I think), I don't go through enough 2-liters in the trip to even add up to the price of one refillable mug.

If they are insulated I'll be bringing mine into Epcot so I can transfer my frozen concoctions into it. When its empty, I'lljust have to refill it LOL. No just kidding, I'll just use a carabiner on my purse strap for it.
