Carrying on liquids?

Just wondering if there are restrictions to putting liquids in your carry on bag for the cruise... are you required to large bottles of liquid such as contact solution and lotion in your checked bags like on a plane, or can I throw them in the backpack I am carrying on with me? Thank you!!

The only "liquid" restriction is for beverages. Any beverages you bring onboard must be in your carry on bags.

Shampoo, contact solution, whatever else can be in your checked bags. Or your carry on bag.

The 3-1-1 rule does not apply for security into the terminal.

In fact, I had all our family's toiletries in one carry-on that we took with us (we drove and it was easier to have them all in one place). No one cared at all at the security checkpoint.
