Is it possible for me to take bottled water into the parks?
How about healthy snacks or other drinks like lemonade?

I can pack our small softsided cooler & chunk it in the stroller basket or carry it on my shoulder. My kids don't get any junk food or sweets right now and, while we plan to have treats on vacation, I don't want to make them sick with too much of it.

Thanks,
Pyedog

We stayed at BCV last year over the week of sept. 11. Security was high!!! We brought a cooler in every day with sippy cups and bottled water. I also kept snacks in my diaper bag and was never told I could not bring them in. They did open and look in everything, but NEVER said anything about the drinks or snacks. Have a great time!!!

We were there 3 weeks ago and always brought bottled water, as well as lots of snacks. One day we even brought pbj sandwiches. The only problem might be if you brought glass containers or a huge cooler. They seem to be very understanding when you have small children.

Security is not the food police, they are looking for stuff that could cause harm to others. Unless you plan a massive food fight, security could care less what you bring in. Disney's policy on food is NO outside food. Water and baby food is excepted.

Again, Security is there for security, PBJs are not a security risk.

I would never dream of bringing a full meal or even a sandwich into a park.. it would get squished...and even if it were allowed, I think it's tacky.

However, I have trouble keeping my blood sugar regulated, and when I start to crash and get clammy and dizzy and nauseated, the last thing I or DH want to do is stand in line for twenty minutes and spend $4.00 on a mickey bar that will get my glucose level WAY up and then slam me back down an hour and a half later. So we put a granola bar and a pack of peanut butter crackers in my backpack for emergencies...

I probably will get my hand smacked for posting this, but it saved us a trip back to the hotel to eat and lie down many afternoons last time, and we will be doing it again when we go in September.

No hand slapping going on here!! I do the exact same thing. Bottled water and peanut butter crackers are always in my fanny pack. My dd gets cranky if she doesn't snack every few hours and my blood sugar plummets too. And that is not a pretty sight to see. I don't think anyone has any problem what-so-ever with this type of food being brought into the parks. Much better than us passing out all over the place!!

I can't imagine anyone having a problem with this.
