i have searched the TSA list of acceptable carry on's and i believe it is a 1 quart ziplock bag for 3oz bottles. However, does this include my make-up(ie mascara, foundation etc) If so, i definetly can't fit all that plus my regular liquid in 1 small ziplock. I have a clear makeup bag that i planned to use in addition to the ziplock for carry on's./ Is this acceptable?

As you found on the TSA website, only a single quart zip-lock bag is acceptable. Only your liquids and gel's need to go in the bag. If you have more than the allowable amount, you'll either have to put them in your checked bags or buy more when you get to Orlando.

::yes::
You get one quart size ziplock bag. Whatever fits in that is allowed on. We traveled over New Years and saw people having to throw out stuff because it would not fit in the bag.
If you are traveling with someone else, you can each have a one quart bag, so if you have more than fits and they still have room left on their bag, you could put some of yours in their bag.

One quart-sized zip top bag per ticketed passenger. If you have liquids in anything other than that, you will not be permitted past security with it. If you are traveling with anyone else, put some of your excess 3 0z. containers in their quart-sized bags. If you are traveling with kids, if they are ticketed passengers (and not lap babies), remember that they are entitled to have one of those quart-sized zip top bags as well.

Also remember that ONLY gels and liquids need to be packed that way. Powdered cosmetics, for example, don't need to be packed like that.

Thanks, that was what i needed clarification on. The cosmetics are stuff i want to be able to take on. Does Mascara & Lipstick considered Liquids?

Lipstick is a solid and can stay in your purse, unless i't's the kind with the brush and gloss. Mascara is a liquid or sometimes a gel, so it has to go into the baggie.
