Carry on deoderant

I just get so scared if they loose the luggage, anyway,

do you think i can bring on nasal spray for the kids and how about decongention pills and my birth control pills - i'd hate for them to get lost.

Nose spray will only be allowed with a prescription or note from the dr. Pills are okay as they are not a liquid!

Here is the current list of what is allowed in your carry-ons & checked baggage: http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/prohibited/permitted-prohibited-items.shtm. This page has some nice tables that go over what can & can not be taken with you. According to the list today, you can take lip balm with you.

By the way, I always have things like toothpaste and shampoo in my checked baggage and I have never had a problem since I started using food storage bags for them. I use many of the 1 quart size and I split up my various items between them. For example, I put my shampoo and conditioner in 1 bag and my toothpaste and toothbrush in another. I also use one for my deoderant just incase the top comes off. I have found that even on the longest trip (22 hours to India) I didn't have a problem.

You can bring on 4 oz of liguid meds without a prescripton now so I think nose spray qualifies for carry on.

However, your individual experiences with the TSA may vary..... (GREATLY)
