Do I really need a special bag for my camera and my film when I take it on a plane? How do I keep my stuff safe going trough the new x rays machines. My B-day is coming up should I ask for a protective case or is it just a myth? We fly to WDW in Sept.

Anyone know??

Rebecca thanks for your help. I think I will hand carry it just to be safe.

My DH did buy me a digital camera for our anniversary but because I'm not technical I returned it after staring at it for an hour and crying. I just don't understand how it can work!! I can't wait till my 4 year old takes computer lessons at school so he can teach me.;)

Julianne - Hope your trip goes well
we just got back Had a great time
& took alot of pictures - At the ticket counter
when we were checking bags, the agent kept asking
passengers if they had any film in their bags

Remember to have it in your carry on & to have it
all hand checked. They are willing & ready to do
so.

Thanks for the update! I'm gald the airlines are reminding people and don't mind hand checking carry on film!
