I know there was the carriage ride at POR, but now just learned (thnx DIS) that they do it at more resorts during this time a year. When my parents come along next year, I want to plan a surprise for them as my way of saying thnx (they're paying part of my trip 
) and give them some them-time. It might be a nice thing to plan a carriage ride, then get them an ADR at Wolfgang Pucks (know they will love it there) and give them some Disney dollars to blow at DTD.
So that leads me to my question; how are your experiences with the carriage rides? At which resort would you recommend it and why? Also; is that $35,- really for the whole carriage or per person?
I know I can get Disney dollars at DTD, but aren't sure if I'll get the chance to get some before needing them/without my parents suspecting anything. Can I get them delivered to the resort?
Also any other good idea's for surprising those two are welcome.
