Carriage Rides at Ft. Wilderness

Does anyone know if the Ft. Wilderness carriage rides take a similar path as the hayride?

DH and I are going for our first couples only trip and we love the hayride through the campground to view the xmas light displays, but would like a more private viewing experience this time around w/o kids.

Can anyone help me out?

DW and I never took the hayride, but we did the carriage ride on our honeymoon and found it to be a great experience. We had a great driver (whose name escapes me), and beautiful black horse named James. We found the ride to be both romantic and fun.

You might try to reserve the carriage for the time frame when the electrical water pageant is going on... the driver will usually stop by the lake so you can watch the show. Also, the last ride of the night might lead to a longer trip, which I'm sure is dependent on the driver.
