Carraige Rides?????

Hello all,

I have read some threads that have mentioned Carraige Rides . I have noticed that people have had them at several different resorts. My DW and I have been going to WDW for several years and we are starting to look for new things to do . This sounds interesting and I would appreciate any information. Thanks in advance.

They are $30 for 30 minutes. We considered doing a carriage ride at POR this past trip but didn't get around to it.

I just surprised my family with a carriage ride two weeks ago today actually...ahhh....oh, sorry I wish i was still there. Anyway I think you call 407-WDW-PLAY to make reservations. They only accept cash or room credit and it was $30 for 30 minutes. I set it up so we would go after we went to the Hoop-Dee-Doo and it actually worked out perfectly. We went to the 5:00 HDDR show and then sat in the grass and watched wishes and then and 7:30 we went on our carriage ride. Although it didn't go as well as I planned it was still something we don't do everyday and it could have been very fun and relaxing. It wasn't the driver's fault, my DD8 and DS5 were not in the mood for sitting after sitting for dinner. And my DD16months didn't want to sit after sitting in her stroller for 3 days. But for just you and your wife I think it would be very romantic to bring along a bottle of wine and maybe some chocolates. We had plenty of wine and maybe too much chocolate and I was ready to take them back to the resort and put them to bed. Have fun!!
