Carowinds - 2013 discounts?

The boys and I are headed to Disney in 2 weeks and we plan on once again stopping in NC/SC to go to Carowinds for the day/evening. Last year we just did the after 4pm ticket but this year we will likely arrive in the area much earlier. I would like to find a discount that I can use at the gate for tickets. I could order thru AAA for a discounted price but if the weather should happen to be bad them I'm stuck with the tickets. Anyone know of any promotions (Coca-Cola, etc.) running right now?

I don't live too far from Carowinds. Sometimes Bojangles (and maybe Wendy's) will have coupons for a discount. Maybe on your way down you could stop at either one and see if they have anything.

If you're going to be there before May 31, the online discount on Carowinds own website is a great deal. At $39 a ticket, its better than the discount my employer gets (2000 employees).

NC State Employee Credit Union offers tickets for $36. Not sure if anyone can purchase or if you have to be a member

Thanks everyone! We actually will be going June 1 so the discount for tix thru May 31 won't work for us I think I'm just going to stick to the original plan and just go to the park at 4pm so we can get the nightime price of $26.99. I just know if I bought the tickets in advance that the weather would be such that we wouldn't be able to go.

Subway's been advertising buy a meal and get $15 off Carowinds tickets, but they don't have a date on the commercial.
