There's a great big beautiful tomorrow
Shinin' at the end of ev'ry day
There's a great big beautiful tomorrow
And tomorrow's just a dream away

Man has a dream and that's the start
He follows his dream with mind and heart
And when it becomes a reality
It's a dream come true for you and me...

This is one of our family's top five attractions! Bonus is that it's cool and dark and makes for a great break in the hot afternoon!

One of our family's favorites...we are bummed that it will probably be closed when we go in January :(

The first time I saw this was in 1964 at the Worlds Fair in NYC. The memories of this have stayed with me through out my life. It took me till 2001 before I could get to WDW to see it again. I had tears of joy in my eyes that day.
From what I've been hearing it will be closed when we return to WDW this coming January.

This August was my first trip to the world and my son and I loved this show. It is easily one of our favorites. I am particularly fond of it because of the narrator, Jean Shepard (John in the CP). He was the writer and narrator of the movie A Cristams Story and one of my favorite radio personallites in the 60s. As a kid I used sneak a radio under the covers when I went to bed so I could listen to him tell stories about Flick and Schwartz and the Old Man. Carousel of Progress is a fitting monument to his memory.

After always missing this attraction, we finally got to see it in June. We instantly loved it!

I always try to run up in the summer to see it because it's my favorite.

I remember it from my visits as a child and I loved it!

Is there any way of telling if it will be open when we visit this Dec? We plan on beig in MK on Dec 9-10 and again on Dec 21..... What do you think?

CoP is onr of our all time favorites. When we went last Dec. it was so nice to see it open. Lets hope that they have it open when we visit this Dec.

Will it be open in November? I heard that it will do its seasonal close once Stitch is open

Its a shame that they close this - as it was on eof Walt's ideas. As much as I hate that we are going during the busy Pres week, I hope it will be busy enogh that COP will be open. (That would help ease that Small World will be closed.)

I love COP. I'm lucky because for my last two trips, it was open. :teeth: I will be sad if it's closed the next time we go.

I love it as do my daughter's. Not to be missed if it is open.

I'm into nostalgia--so love looking at the historical scenes. Daughter's are fascinated by the scene changes.

SIGH!!!!! COP is by far my favorite attaraction. I too am a sucker for nostalgia and i only have two specific memeories from my first disney trip when i was a child. one is me with Jiminy and the other is the COP. Out of fear of it ever going away i have taped the entire thing on digial video tape. I just was looking at it last week with my family. (we needed a disney fix) God bless Uncle Orvel!

I'm excited that on my next trip (3 weeks from Saturday) I will most likely be able to see BOTH COP and Stitch. Stitch officially opens in the middle of our trip. And I'm guessing that until it officially opens, COP will be open.
