Okay, I posted here before, but I must post again!

My cousins and I see this twice every time we go to MK. We always sing the song during the "switching." Our parents get so mad at us. Its quite funny.

I know I'm off topic here, but, I went on that with my cousins as well. I was really tired... We all went on Spaceship Earth. I was sitting with my nine year old cousin. I was like, "If I fall asleep, wake me up." I ended up falling asleep and screaming at my poor cousin while she was trying to wake me up.


Okay, back to everyone loving the Carousel.

^It still might happen, in my home park Six Flags Great Adventure they just did major maintnence on our old freefall ride (Stuntman's Freefall) and it was running for about 2 weeks which is great because it is rarely ever open and now there thinking of replacing it. It has been taken on and off the "Closed for the remainder of the 2006 season" list mutiple times and is usually listed as SBNO.

Anyway, I would cry if they took down the Carousel of Progress. My mom rolls her eyes bc its one of the only rides I BEG to go on. And that whenever my sister and I sit together on a ride (even outside of WDW) we start singing the song.

...It's a great big beautiful tomorrow....

They are replacing it with a different movie-themed ride...I can't remember which movie now tho!!! AH!

they r replacing the timekeeper. will be mike and sully's comedy club. an interactive stage show for the younger ones. CoP is staying...

Personally I love CoP
I've seen it many times and what makes it better is it has a.c.
To me it just reminds me of Disney because you wouldn't find a ride like that in any other theme park.

Very true. I think the Mike&Sully comedy club is a cute thing for the younger kids, although they should build that near all the little kids rides so parents don't have to travel to the other side of Disney to let their kid go on a 10 min. ride!! LOL

LOL I'm serious though, can't they just re-furbish the COP like they did to POTC??

Yeah I know I love Monsters Inc. so I will probably force my family to go watch that show

I think CoP does need to be re-furbished also. In one scene he has two lefts feet on and he calls the dog a different name in other scenes. Im not sure if that has been fixed already thought.

Yeah I figured the dog died but they call him one name then another name and then the first name again.
I guess they named the third dog after their first dog haha.

The only thing I didn't enjoy on CoP was the screaming children. Whenever I go on it, a child seems to cry through-out the whole show. But that's not anybody's fault.

I love it, all my family do, we all sing along and get strange looks from the teenagers infront! It is just so disney! I also like the fact it made me think that we have so much more time to spend on the everyday things due to modern convenices, but what do we do with that time? Where does it go?

I love Spaceship Earth for the same reason!
