Carousel of Progress Anyone?

Every visit we go on COP. I know it's hokey and dated but any visit would to MK would not be complete w/o it. Our kids even request. Besides, it's an A/C respite fromthe crowds and the Fla heat.
Then for months you can't get the theme sing out of your head.
Are we mentally impaired or do other people enjoy this attraction?

We love it as well!!! Thankfully, it was open on our past trips in Februart and just a couple of weeks ago!!!

So, if you are mentally impaired - so are we!!!! And happy to be that way!!!!!!!

Love, love, love the CoP. My DH downloaded the song on his MP3 player, so we listen to it in the car all the time. (Now that may be considered mentally impaired!)

I LOVE THIS ATTRACTION!!!!

Saw it for the first time in December. I've been lucky enough to see it on return trips in Feb, May, and hoping July. There is something so comforting and "feelgood" about it. Pure Disney! It has become one of my all-time favorites in WDW, and I will make a point of seeing it everytime I can now.

There's a great, big, beautiful tomorrow....

I love it! I'm only disappointed that I'm probably not going to be able to see it this year. I'm sure that Stitch ride will be open by then, so CoP will be closed.

One of my husband and my favorite attractions. We make it a priority to see each time we visit! Hope they don't close this one for good. It is a classic!

My FH and I adore the CoP. We make a point to ride it every trip to WDW. For us, it is a true Disney classic, much like Peter Pan, Snow White, etc.

My family and I love COP. We try not to miss it. I know its not for everyone, but its been part of our trips for so long. I hope its open when I go.

Will CoP be closed for rehab or for good?

They can't take that one away. It's classic Disney!

Prior to Alien Encounter closing, CoP was on seasonal status, meaning it only opened during periods of very large crowds. When Alien Encounter closed, CoP and Timekeeper (also seasonal) were opened to compensate. After a few months Timekeeper went back to seasonal. The assumption is that when Stitch opens up, CoP will go back to seasonal status.
