Ive been reading in these threads that the COP is only open seasonally.

Does anyone know when it is scheduled to close? We are going on Aug 30, and was hoping it would still be open for a couple of days.

I've been reading that it will close on Aug. 15th for this summer season.

COP is my favorite ride. We will be there 8/11-8/18 so I will be sure to see it a few times. I was closed onour last 2 trips.

COP will be open : June 22 through August 14

Why is COP seasonal? I'm not sure I understand this. Is this a recent thing they started doing? I ask because I've been to DW twice in the spring and it was open and once in the summer and it was open.

It makes me sad to think that my DS and my b/f will miss this attraction.

Supposidly is it because of money. COP supposidly isn't getting the visitors it is supposed to so they don't feel they should keep it open all the time. Personally I love this attraction and feel what Disney is doing is wrong! There are also rumors saying that it will be closing for good sometime soon.

It surprises me that it is seasonal only because there are always so many people on here that are trying to find out if it's going to be open when they are there and really disappointed when it is not. Sorry I don't have any answers for you. I just always check these posts at the off chance that someone will say it's going to be open when I'm there (we're going during the really dead time so I'm not keeping my hopes up).
